I work from home but commute to and from the lower mainland to my home in the Fraser Canyon weekly! Every so often we decide to order Pizza Hut and pick up our pizza for dinner on the way… it’s it’s a big commute and don’t feel like cooking when I get home… I like vegetarian, so I usually order the margarita with the Alfredo sauce! Hubby likes the chicken Caesar, which also has Alfredo sauce. As usual, I placed our order last night via the App on a quick stop during my commute. Drove the next 70 kms and picked up the pizza. I usually use the app as I’ve not had an issue with it. I also do not always use this store in Hope! We sometimes use the store at Vedder in Chilliwack. That said, I got all the way home, which is Almost an hour from this store, put the pizzas in the oven at 170 just to warm them up a touch. Get everything else settled from my trip to the city. I was super hungry, and so glad to be home… Then opened the pizzas. The chicken Caesar was fine because we like the Alfredo sauce, so we always order Alfredo Sauce… Unfortunately, the wrong sauce on the margarita pizza. I don’t do well with their tomato sauce….don’t know what they have in it that bugs me, but I always order the Alfredo sauce and customize my margarita. That said, no dinner for me! So I go to the app and submit the feedback about the sauce was wrong. That part of the app seems to work no problem! Then I get a call from the store this afternoon. Instead of addressing the issue and saying we’re sorry something got screwed up but here’s compensation. The onus of the issue was put on me…the customer! The gentleman on the phone stated “ Oh! well we have had issues with the app!” Then stated “we advise customers using the app to please make sure to call the store to be sure their order is accurate.” So instead of addressing the issue, which is obviously known to be happening within the app and contacting the app creator, holding them accountable, The onus was put on the customer because they used the app! I’ve never had an issue prior to this using the app so if the store doesn’t want to replace the pizza that’s fine… But if they were queued in good customer service, they should’ve… It really is the principal of the whole thing. The simple fact that the blame was put on a person driving to and from the lower mainland giving some small guy Business is Ludacris.
That said, I won’t use that store anymore and I will stop in Chilliwack as I’ve had zero issues there. I do like to give the smaller business guy in Hope business too… But unfortunately buddy…you just lost my business and we will stop in Chilliwack (seriously only 20+ minutes difference and still have to warm up the pizza) Vedder store to pick up our pizza...
Read moreOrdered pizza from this location, a number of times, but used to have stomach ache problems every other time, but the last time i ate, it got really worse, had stomach infection, and called the pizza place, they asked me to come in and talk, i did bring in the pizza which i did not ate, the day after, as they said they were closing and wanted us to come next day, i did had a talk with the owner, and explained everything, so instead of making sure, i am ok and getting to depth of the matter, instead she said that she has been in business for way too long, and i am lying, and if i had problem, why i do not have any report from health officer or doctor, and started arguing, and said if u want to prove something, get a health inspector report if want to prove it, the real question is how could i have got the report at 10pm the night i had pizza, and after keeping it overnight, how could i have got the results even if i called the health inspector and could have got reports, she could have lied that it’s because the pizza have been kept overnight, Overall it was my responsibility to let you know, the decision is yours, Stay...
Read moreWorst pizza hut i have ever been to, they refuse to answere the phone about an hour to close every time.i have been charged extra for marinara sauce which im told by other pizza huts they dont even charge for that. Ripped me off. Many times its so dry it looks like pizza bread at safeway, litterally opened a jar of spagetti sauce to put on it. I went in to order and told if i want the online deals i have to order it on my phone, also the only pizza hut i have ever heard this, it even depends on who is working, some people do it there no problems and give me the best pizza loaded in toppings and sauce then others are so bad i pay for extra topping and sauce because most of the time its so pathetic, and get your pizza still dry and barrely any toppics, but who wants to go to chiliwack just for your pizza craving. Wonder if its the same owners as panago here. Never again will i go there for the same reason. Right now im sitting outside getting no answer for the past 40 min and they are open and inside. What a joke. Looks like ill never eat here either and warn everyone i can to stay clear from this horribly...
