Sakoon Indian Cuisine — Restaurant in Hope

Worst food they server and worst customer service they do provide. The Indian guy talks in such a creepy language and has no idea of customer service. The quality of food they serve is completely garbage. I ordered malai kofta and taste so bad one full size plate with just 2 balls. And when we tell about this the owner start yelling at us. This is the only food quality we provide its up to you and you have to pay for it any how bla bla bla. Highly recommend find other options before visiting.

And funny thing They will teach how Indian food taste and look like to cover their mistakes despite the fact i am eating the food from last 23 years and have trier almost every restaurant in lower midland 😆.

Restaurant is well decorated. Proper arrangement for sitting. Serving staff( girl) is good too. The way she served us. But the language of owner and quality and taste of food is worst...

Overall disappointed by the quality. Ordered a butter chicken, palak paneer, and a rice. Total came to $28.00 and some change, reasonable for a dinner for two people. But the flavour was extremely lacking. Butter chicken was very thin, too sweet, and lacked spices.. Palak paneer also was bland and lacking in spices. Portion sizes were reasonable. Overall not impressed...

Update: Gave them a second chance, ordered palak paneer and aloo gobi this time. The vegetables were barely chopped and were undercooked! (as in raw) The cauliflower and potato pieces were huge which doesn't allow them to pair properly with rice or naan. The masala was also watery and lacking in flavour. No matter how reasonable $29 for two dishes, a rice and a naan sounds... the quality is just too disappointing....

I would give this zero but I cannot. Went there for the first time ever on thanks giving to order a pick up but this slim Canadian-Indian girl/lady was out right rude. I told her that she was rude and responded with a ‘Whatever’ in a I don’t give a sh*t manner. The place was empty and in a matter of half a minute I felt that we had disturbed the peace of the place and were unwelcome.

As I am writing this review from outside the restaurant there was another family that walked in and came out in a manner of 60 seconds with the same experience.

Will never come back. Worst ever Indian restaurant experience.
