Eggsmart — Restaurant in Innisfil

I was there around 8.45ish on Saturday morning with my friend and 2 kids. We got our table so fast. Our server is Leslie. Menu was great, lots of options. Coffee and tea and kids drinks was there in decent time. But our food was taking way too long. I ordered steak and eggs. The waitress says it's taking a long time because of the steak (the steak were so tiny and thin) which I understand maybe they just have to thaw it. But I have 2 little kids that need their food. Even asked the waitress about their food. I was hoping that the kids will get their food first.since they're slow eater. My tea is not well taking care off, no water for the kids, forget all the little things, ketchup, syrup for the kids, jam, peanut butter I ended up taking from the other table. Which is happened from time to time at other restaurants. But it was all the little things that annoys me. She was saying sorry previously. The only thing that is great about this restaurant was the bathroom wwas well kept. As I was paying the bill I just wanna get out of there so fast that I press 15% tips when its obvious that she doesn't deserve it. The food??? Blaaahhhh.... potatoes are just plain. Great staff and lovely food

Edit: I recently ordered takeout after the new quarantine took effect. I had a very pleasant experience. I read the other review from 2 weeks ago, and while I can't speak to their experience, my girlfriend's and my dishes were amazing! The Hollandaise sauce on our French toast Benedicts were still fairly warm, the homefries (which I got upgraded) tasted great and the French toast was perfectly done.

Perhaps the soggy Hollandaise in the other review was due to the drive from the restaurant to home and the food cooling and then condensation happening? I used the car seat warmer to keep my dishes warm and everything was fine! I do wish there had been a bit more homefries and I felt like more was given when we dined in pre-shutdown. But, the quantity overall was enough for me to have two meals. It is true that there was no fruit garnish, but I imagine that's so the cold fruit and the hot food don't mix?!

All in all, my girlfriend and I have had two experiences at this particular location - one dine-in and one take-out. Both experiences have been great with respect to the staff and service, and the food quality and taste, and I'm looking forward to...

First time visiting this place and it will be the last one. Terrible service, arrived with my family today and ordered when there were only three other tables occupied.

After seating ourselves and getting our drinks order the staff basically ignored us. After a while they came and took our order, then they left and a couple of other customers arrived, they got their order taken quickly.

After 10 minutes they came out with the orders for other tables that sat after us. I asked regarding our order and they apologized because they only had one cook and it would take another 5 to 10 minutes. So, I had to wait but people who arrived and ordered after didn't.

After ten minutes part of our food came, then after another 5 minutes another part of the order came and finally, we had to ask for the last part of the order because it was clear they never got it in. Meanwhile all other tables were getting their food.

I ordered a hash with avocado and as someone previously mentioned, stay away from the avocado dishes as I got what I think is an avocado but it was so dark I wasn't sure if I could have it. The pancakes were on...
