Literally my favourite place to get food EVER in Port Renfrew. This family owned business is a must-go-to!! Cynthia is a wonderful owner and cook who makes every customer feel welcome and makes all the meals homemade/to-order (patience is appreciated). While I’ve tried most things on the menu, my favourite is probably the burger 🍔 For 1/2 the price of the other restaurants, the burger and fries are 200% better (*keep in mind I like my fries greasy, salty, and skinny!) The clam fritters are amazing (which is saying a lot because I don’t normally like seafood). The smokie (hot dog) is also delicious. I’ve also ordered the mac & cheese and her special burrito (weekly specials added in the summer). I’ll have to go back to try her chicken fried rice again (first time wasn’t my favourite as the rice felt a little watery, but it could’ve been an off day). All in all, Cynthia has an extensive menu, adapts to dietary restrictions, has games to keep kids happy, lots of seating (all outdoors), and free wifi! The ambience is truly 10/10 and the prices are unbeatable! (p.s. she gave me a free muffin on my birthday 🥹) ❤️ If I could write an essay on how much I love Renny’s, I would… except you’ve just read it (see above 😉)

My kids and I drove past this food truck several times during our time in Port Renfrew and bemoaned that it wasn’t open - there aren’t many places to eat in town. The food at the pub and the cafe is good but expensive, and the store has minimal offerings. We were on our way to the store on our second night, exhausted and starving after spending all day at the beach, when we saw the truck was open. My daughter and I both had the fried chicken, and my son had a kid’s meal - a plain grilled cheese and a juice box for $5. The fried chicken was excellent - 2 huge pieces of chicken, so well-seasoned, and the most delicious fries. The woman running the food truck was fricking delightful - so friendly, told us about how they had opened the truck to support their daughter in university. She ran into the house and grabbed freezies for my kids when they were done eating. While we were their vehicle after vehicle of local residents came to grab food - definitely a great reflection of the quality and value!!

Trevor Noah once said 'some of the best food you'll find is at a food truck' and Renny's is no exception!! We just spent a few days in Port Renfrew and had the most amazing fish tacos! We loved them so much, we went 2 days in a row! Cynthia is a culinary wizard, accomodating my egg allergy on the fly, with a delicious substitute for her traditional tartar sauce. Her fish tacos are absolute magic, the best fish taco we've ever had. There are also HAND-CUT 🤯 fries to complete the scrumptious meal. She also makes a mean fried rice, if you're lucky enough to be in town when she makes it - run, do not walk, to Renny's and get some! Such a sweet spot, one of the reasons we are sad to leave Port Renfrew. Cynthia is so kind and welcoming and her culinary skills are something else!! Thank you so much for filling our bellies & for the hospitality! See you next time!
