Pita Land Shawarma - Kamloops — Restaurant in Kamloops

It hurts me to only put 2 stars here because the food is so delicious, but my experience when ordering off the catering menu was abysmal. I called over 24 hours in advance to place a large order (for 30 adults) of more than enough food (according to the catering tab off the website) to be ready for 5pm the next day. When i arrived at 4:45 to check in, they had less than half of our order ready and it was wrong- individual orders instead of the catering menu like we had discussed the day before. When the food was finally ready- over an hour later, around 6:15.. each box was less than half full of food. I paid $800 (with a tip it was $900) and had to portion half a cup worth of food to the 30 hungry people waiting to eat. The chicken and beef shawarma boxes for example says it feeds 8-10 people- and was maybe enough for 5 per.. we ordered 3x these plates and it was not near enough. We also ordered 10x falafel off the catering menu (That’s 100 pieces) and only received 40. The salads were great sizes! And the “twenty half wrap platter” was exactly what it said it was. The food is delicious and that’s why we ordered from them! But the customer service and catering quantity was not at all what they advertise. We hope they can fix this on their website so nobody else...

I live in Kamloops and one day while out in town, I came across Pita Land. I tried their pita box with rice and instantly loved it. Since then, I’ve gone back many times—it’s just that good!

The food is always fresh, tasty, and filling. Every bite is full of flavor, and you can tell they really care about the quality. Their fries on the side are amazing—crispy and super delicious.

The service is also great. Dipu and @stephanie..morris are always friendly and welcoming. They make the place feel warm and comfortable.

Another great thing is that Pita Land is one of the most halal-friendly restaurants in Kamloops, which is really important to me.
