Tiger Ramen — Restaurant in Kamloops

By far the best ramen in Kamloops. Disclaimer, this is a small location with very limited seating, so arrive with the expectation to wait, and you will be satisfied. As a courtesy to others, this is a ramen bar, not a hangout spot. You will be served quickly, so try and leave your spot for others who are waiting once you are done eating - there's a great local coffee shop by Shoppers Drug mart called 5 Bean if you're looking to catch up with your friends/family. Featured is a tiger miso with extra noodle and an added egg with a side of 5 dumplings. Tiger miso has a rich bone broth with great depth of flavor. Noodles are made in house and cooked to chewy perfection. Pork belly falls apart and is oh so tender. Egg center is soft as you'd expect. Dumplings are my favorite in town. Crisp exterior with a pork filling. The best part is their unique dipping sauce. Salty, sweet and slightly tangy Finally, the staff are so kind and thankful of your business. Can't recommend this small local business enough. Ps if your upset with the wait time, skip the wait altogether and call in for a takeout order, or take advantage of their frozen ready to make ramen portions that can be...

Honestly , any negative reviews read carefully and thoughtfully regarding the source and complaint. Small venue, yah sure it is, so what? Don't get an egg with certain ramen, long wait lines, etc,etc. The folks operating this fine restaurant (18 seats max? ) are very efficient and the food is top notch folks! The owners are working within their own great success producing excellent ramen, hence the lineups. When you see a lineup, its for a reason, get over it. Go where there isn't lined up and I'm sure the food will reflect that. The only issue I have here is the patrons that linger over their meal when there are lineups. Eat your ramen and get a move on people, your lingering and social self worth playing on your phone costs restaurants money.The owners are just far too kind to suggest to you, and shouldn't have to, how to patronize a small establishment, use your head people. We'll be back every chance we get and wait if we have to, keep up the great kitchen work...

I am blown away by this vegan ramen. My partner and I have eaten here several times. The broth of this ramen is so incredible. It’s got body and depth, which can’t say about a lot of other vegan broths I have had at other restaurants. My bf is not vegan, ordered a Tiger Miso ramen and thoroughly enjoyed his. He tried mine and said it was just as amazing. I got a spice level of 4 and it had me sweating, I have a tolerance for spice. I spoke with the person who served me, who said they make everything in house, including the noodles. They are chewy and delightful. They even have ramen packages that you can take home and heat up yourself at anytime, for those of you looking to eat at home and on your own time. The restaurant was very clean, sanitized often and the service was excellent. I would give a higher rating than 5 stars...
