We've grabbed take-out from here a few times and it never ceases to surprise us how crispy the chicken is when we bring it home. The last time we ordered it, we had to drive about 20 minutes to a friend's house and it was still crispy when we finally dug in.

We've tried buldak and yeangyeom sauces but always seem to gravitate to the original (no sauce). We always get the original with sauce on the side to ensure maximum crispiness. The sauces overall tend to be on the sweeter side so I personally just prefer some Frank's hot sauce.

Even the worst Korean chicken is still better than KFC, or most fried chickens. And this place has amazing Korean chicken. Just amazing.

I rarely write reviews but when I do, it’s usually because it’s either the experience was the best or the worst. In this case, absolutely spot on and would recommend this place with no hesitation.

As an immigrant with Korean heritage, I can definitely say that the chicken here is authentic as they advertise. Yangyeom is my personal favorite and I’ve tried other places but I think Chicko is my top choice. Service was excellent, clean atmosphere with easy access to their website and app to order.
