I don’t know why it’s taking me so long to write this review but I wanted to take a minute to show my appreciation for this restaurant and the owner himself. Renata is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met, The care and consideration that goes into each dish he makes is so evident in every bite. My husband and I have been coming there for years. It is genuinely one of the best authentic restaurants in Kamloops. Everything is made from scratch. I’ve had the honor of watching them prep everything by hand from sausage to sauce to pasta and lasagna is a blessing. That just doesn’t happen as often as it used to, so to have a place to go to that still takes pride and passion with a kiss of soul, put it into their dishes, and serve it to us … common, its a blessing. I buy their meat sauce by the bucket and freeze it at home. That way I never have to worry about running out. They have the best selection of the highest quality, pastas, tomatoes, tomato sauce, sauces, and rare Italian items. Beware Thursday evenings. There be local regulars here, and they are merciless. The unexpected visiting diner maybe not only overwhelmed by the outstanding, fresh and abundant servings, but also by the friendly insinuation into your table's environment of some interesting (and likely harmless) characters who are long term Kamloops residents (which in itself explains a lot 😏). Go for the food. This is an unpretentious gem overseen by a proud owner and magical chef. The pasta was amazing, the meatballs astounding, and the conversation, er, conversational. No topic was left untouched and derailed. The house wine is a very good accompanyment to the home made masterpieces though it may cause the conversation to deteriorate further. Be warned. Wow, what a gem of an Italian restaurant. We both ordered the special today for takeaway; spaghetti with meatball and a Caesar salad. The freshest pasta and sauce. Salad dressing that I could happily eat on repeat with crunchy greens, parm and croutons. Brilliant portions at an excellent price.

We are already planning our return! PLUS he sells authentic ingredients in the retail section, his sauces and seafood, as well as meats and cheeses cut to order by the gram.
