WOW. Read Beard is an outstanding cafe and Restaraunt in Kamloops that offers exceptional food and drink in a very comfortable environment, and served with stellar service. While they are still just a few years old they have certainly earned their status as a Kamloops culinary institution. Intimate setting for a date? Red Beard is perfect. Relaxing/celebrating with some good food and drinks among friends? Red Beard is the spot. I have no critique to share, every aspect of the experiences I've had here over the years has reinforced their well deserved status as one of Kamloops' most dependable and enjoyable restaurants. Today I enjoyed their Shwarm-ish Wrap with Thrice-cooked fries and blueberry ketchup with a lemonade to drink. All phenomenal. The Shwarma is refreshing yet savoury, the blueberry ketchup pairs incredibly with their crispy wedges, and the lemonade is a lovely refresher to sip at on their spacious patio. All in all, Red Beard Cafe leaves nothing to be desired, at least in my humble opinion. Give them a chance, and you will absolutely not be disspointed. Please enjoy and share this place with your friends, they are constantly striving to improve on their excellence and they will certainly deserve and earn your support. Thanks Red Beard staff for the great experiences, it is very much appreciated and treasured.

Food: Food is really good, it's a fun hipstery fusion restraunt. I have only eaten from the breakfast menu, but everything I've had has been really good. The garam masala french toast, and the eggs benedict have both been amazing. I personally do not like the blueberry balsamic ketchup, due to despising blasamic vinegar. Wish they did offer a regular ketchup, but I get why they don't. My biggest recommendation is the hot chai latte. I have no idea what magic they enfuse into this drink, but it's truly amazing. You can get it iced or hot both are good I prefer the hot, they have many milk options both regular and diary free. They make it rich and creamy and the foam is *chefs kiss*. They offer alcohol and beers, but I have never tried any as I don't drink beer. Service: Service is very good, everyone is so friendly and very attentive. I've never had a bad server there even on days where they let us know they had a call out and are down a person. They always do a great job. Vibe: Really nice inside, not to loud. Love the patio upgrades, they are really adding a bright spot to the North Shore and I love to see that. If you want to try something a bit different, but really delicious I'd really recommend checking out Redbeard. You won't be disappointed.

I am very disappointed to have to write this. Red Beard has been praised for its breakfast and I was excited to try it. We visited on Easter and understood it was a little busy (nothing crazy however). We did not mind the wait at all! We ordered the most standard breakfast dish on the menu (bacon breaky or so) and were surprised to find it arriving without a sausage. Our waiter was busy so we told one of the other staff members. She apologized and went inform the kitchen staff. Literally 1 minute later our sausage came, nicely browned but ICE cold on the inside. We told the same girl, as our waiter was again/still busy. She awkwardly took it back. By the time we finished both of our breakfast meals our own waiter arrived and asked if we wanted the bill. We told him we were still waiting for the sausage. He had no clue, as non of the staff had informed him about this messy situation. We took it to go, but were not offered anything to make up for their mistake. Missing an item happens from time to time but then messing up that same item is just...
