Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Kamloops

So we went to Timmies by Superstore tonight to get half dozen donuts. Went through drive thru, paid, got our order, and as we were driving out of line up we checked the box (cause Timmies make a lot of mistakes these days) and 2 of the donuts were wrong. I should have checked before I drove away from the window (as I usually do). Anyway, I went inside to the counter and told the girl what happened. She proceeded to take the 2 donuts out of the box and put them BACK in the showcase!! Then gave me the ones I ordered.....seriously? You are going to resell those donuts?You don't know if I did anything to them. Plus...COVID? GERMS? AND A MILLION OTHER REASONS! I'm just blown away. I can't believe she didn't throw them out. Wow! I don't even know what to say. I WILL NOT be going there again. What has happened to the Tim Horton's franchise in Kamloops? It has gotten so very bad. I know businesses are hurting and everyone is doing their very best. I understand long wait times, occasional errors, stressed and overworked employees who need a bit more patience from the public, etc...what I don't get is the rudeness, the argumentative attitudes, the lack of caring, the obvious lack of cleanliness/health safety, and the lack of TRAINING! I was a restaurant manager for many, many years. I even have experience with foreign workers. It's all in the training! TRAIN YOUR WORKERS! All issues solved with a good training program. I...

Usually very fast drive thru. However inside was a shame. I am sure Mr Horton is turning over in his grave over what his restaurants have become. One table that was actually clean to sit at. Even the counter seating was filthy. Service was very slow. They may have replaced all their workers, but these ones do not know customer service either. Will definitely think twice about going inside again. Took my 83 yr old mother for lunch , not there, not ever. I have been going to that Tim's for over 16 years. And until it was taken over first by east Indian and now phillipinos,it used to be a great place. Used to be clean and busy. They were always polite. Always fast and excellent service. So many tim hortons have fallen to bad service,nasty unclean restaurants and bathrooms. And that's if you can understand them anymore either. And while I am not a racist , I do believe if you take over a franchise it should be run properly and efficiently. Tim hortons has gone downhill. Not just this one. All of them that are not white owned! I have worked for them and it is disgusting how they are run. Never enough staff ,cause they want to save money. It's sickening. Time to find a new...

I don't know if you want my real opinion because it isn't all that great. Furthermore if you want my real opinion I won't give it for free simply because I do not offer free consultation to businesses. However if I were to receive a phone call or an email from head management at Tim Hortons I would consider being a consultant on their behalf to help them improve. But the funny thing is this: the matters that I would complain about are common sense smart business practice Things. But I will end on this note... There is one that young chat there who I believe is a Keener and will probably go places. So then to starve that I give is on his behalf and I give Tim Hortons in general a zero rating. I'll tell you why I give a zero rating. I believe they used the argument that they would have to raise prices in order to makeup for the increase in wages due to the hike in minimum wage recently. I don't really mind that a company makes a judgement call in that regard however the quality of their food has taken a nosedive as well and so has the quality of their overall service. One last word of advice... And this one is free... Too many flies...
