Browns Socialhouse Summit — Restaurant in Kamloops

We had our holiday dinner with our staff of dentist and employees. The reservation was made well over in advance and there was another party simultaneously. As our guests arrived the waitress was inattentive and had to manage the two big parties at the same time .She told us to hold on before anyone could try to order anything . We were not being served nor being attended to . We were very patient with her . As food arrived cold and drink orders were heavily delayed, our patience was running out , as one of the guest did not get their food order and the other had been served cold food . At this point our boss got frustrated and proceeded to complain to the manager “Pat” I think his name was . Instead of listening he started to argue with my boss and was very disrespectful . First of all as a manager it is your job to listen to your customer complaints . Super unprofessional . Secondly, why would you have one waitress working for two big parties when you fully know that there will be two big groups of guests that needed to be attended to . Very dissatisfied with the service and very disrespectful especially to people coming from out of town for this event . I would not even give this place a 1 star . It wasn’t the waitress’s fault . Our family decided to choose this restaurant for lunch during a trip we made to Kamloops for the day. Needless to say we will not be making that mistake again. Upon our arrival we were greeted by a male server who was very rude to my partner and I. After asking if we had been helped he blatantly ignored everything I was said to him and walked away. We were escorted to our table by another host. After being seated & ordering it was a good hour before we received our meals. Usually this wouldn’t have been a big deal but we had our fussy 2 year old along with us which made waiting a long time for our lunch challenging. I ordered a Caesar salad without cheese due to a dairy allergy. I was asked if I still wanted the meal twice by our waitress and then again multiple times by the same male server who brought the food to our table. Though I appreciate the assurance I was going to be content with my meal I felt baggered and uncomfortable even though it was what I wanted to order! There was nothing wrong with our meals, the service however was terrible and made my husband and I very unhappy. This restaurant has the MOST UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF I've ever encountered in my entire life. I would definitely NOT recommend this location to anyone. The servers were very unfriendly to begin with and didn’t seem keen in finding suitable tables and seats for me and my family where we can sit not too far away from each other considering that one table can’t accommodate all of us. My family and I waited for about 20 minutes after we were given the menu, but no one came to us after that. After 20 minutes, a waiter passed by, but he ignored us when we told him we’re ready to order. He gave us a look and walked away. This was extremely aggravating, especially because it wasn't even a busy time. There were barely any customers and there were a lot of servers, but the waiting time was terribly long and the service was extremely awful.
