We drove up from Victoria to Kamloops in one trip, it was a 5+ hour drive. We didn’t stop or take any breaks, so when we arrived at our hotel we went to go get something to eat (around 8:20pm).
We arrived at the drive thru and ordered two burger combos, we weren’t asked what size of fries or drink we wanted, so when we arrived at the window they just handed us our food.
We went back through the drive thru and ordered another frie as we only received small ones and had hoped to get large with our order. As any any Wendy’s does.
When we arrived at the window we politely stated our concern that customers should be asked if they would like small medium or large fries and drinks. The woman’s response was “yeah, ok” and then she shut the window and left.
When she came back and handed us our fries, we stated our concern again as she didn’t address it or apologize after being so rude and inconsiderate. We explained that it’s not the customers job to know the standards of a restaurant and what they deem “standard” after she rudely told us that they only offer small drinks and fries with a combo.
We said again, “well, it would have been nice to be told that so that we could ask to upgrade to a larger size.
Her response “ yeah, ok.”
Horrible customer service, rude employees, and poor communication skills for customers paying money.
Also, our fries and burgers were ice cold when we received them, which makes us wonder how long this restaurant lets their food sit in the kitchen?
Our fries were actually cold, hard and stale tasting.
Burgers were poorly made, the Asiago ranch burger came with no actual ranch sauce or lettuce. And one slice of a shriveled up tomato.

I genuinely will not return here- you’re better off driving to a real restaurant and walking in, ordering takeaway at the counter, sitting in the lobby idle while families and lovers walk by to enjoy a nice dine in experience, collecting your bagful of sad food and driving home, going in to your basement, disregarding the lights and sitting down on a dirty couch and eating the food in the dark, alone, staring at a tv screen that isn’t on. That would be a better experience than coming here and dying old in the drive thru line to get a miserable bag of food, wasting what little time you have on this earth to be immediately disappointed not only by the service and quality but also and most importantly by the time it takes to maneuver through the drive...

I called and asked the guy if he was going to take our order, he peaked out the window but never did anything. I called a second time at 11:26pm, he argued with me and hung up. A girl then looked through the window and didn't do anything. The third time I called, they did not answer. The fourth time I called at 11:29pm they finally answered but by that time I already started turning away other customers because it was clear they didn't want to serve anyone.
