KFC — Restaurant in Kawartha Lakes

I’m honestly not sure why this KFC location has received so many negative reviews. I truly sympathize with those who may have had disappointing experiences in the past, but mine was completely different and quite positive. I was visiting Lindsay from Toronto on Victoria Day and decided to stop by for lunch. Out of all the KFCs and fried chicken chains I’ve been to over the years, this location actually stands out as one of the best, both in terms of food quality and overall experience.

When I arrived, the restaurant was fairly quiet, which made the atmosphere calm and pleasant. There was just a father with his children and a couple who came in and left before I finished my meal. I placed my order through the app and chose to dine in, and I was pleasantly surprised by how quick and efficient the service was. My food was ready within minutes and brought out fresh and hot.

The chicken was crispy, juicy, and well seasoned. It was definitely fresher than what I’ve come to expect from most fast food places. The pieces were also a good size, and nothing felt overly greasy. The fries were perfectly cooked and still had that slight crisp you hope for, and the coleslaw was chilled, creamy, and refreshing. Altogether, it was a solid and satisfying meal. I ordered the four piece box meal, and for about sixteen dollars, I felt like it was a really fair price for the amount and quality of food I received.

Beyond the food, I was also impressed with how clean the restaurant was. The tables were spotless, the counters were tidy, and the overall environment was well maintained. Even the washrooms were clean, which is something that often gets overlooked in fast food establishments.

All in all, I had a great experience at this KFC. It exceeded my expectations, especially given that many locations tend to offer a fairly average experience. This one was a refreshing exception. I would definitely come back again the next time I’m in Lindsay and would recommend it to anyone passing through who is looking for a quick, tasty, and...

My wife and I live 2 1/2 hours away, so our recent visit was the only experience we have had with this KFC. The lady on the counter (Vivien) was very personable, humourous, patient and helpful. (she was a great example of what an employee should be) As for the food, it was great! good portions, moist, good value, and served quickly. Now, I will admit that we were there about 1:30 p.m. so we don't know if things would be different during peak times. We can only go by our first-time experience. TO THE MANAGEMENT! (We do not know Vivien, but from our dealing with her yesterday, she seems to be the kind of employee you want to take care of, and I hope you do, or someone else will)....and to anyone who reads this review....NO, we have no affiliation with this KFC or any of it's employees. We are just a senior couple from the Bancroft area relating our one and only visit to this location...If we are in Lindsay again sometime, we would deifinitely visit...

I ordered from here around noon today, and I when I got home I realized I was missing items as well as I had received the wrong sandwiches. I live out in Little Britain it's a bit of a drive back to Lindsay so I tried to call the restaurant instead. The phone rang for a while before someone finally answered it briefly- and then just hung up without even saying anything. I was surprised, and tried calling back again but this time no one answered at all. I get that it was around the lunch rush and the store may have been busy but spending nearly 40 dollars on food only to get a part of your order and then not even the right sandwiches is really disappointing. My boyfriend specifically asked for the chicken bacon and cheese and I got home he got a chicken sandwhich with only sauce and pickles on them. Mine was the same. I checked my receipt and I definitely paid for bacon and cheese sandwiches but no one would even answer the...
