I've had the absolute pleasure of eating at this establishment twice. Both at different times and meals!
1st- 7pm for Dinner. The STAFF went beyond to make sure I understood how to order, their recommendations, took the time to explain their processes and was extremely knowledgeable whenever I asked a question. The meal I ate was The Meal, highly recommend, with all of their amazing healthy options it's a beautiful meal annnnd topped off with some of the safest best Nan I've ever had. I split a Mango Lassi and a East meats west cheese cake, both PHENOMENAL.
2nd - 12pm for Lunch. Again the staff was extremely welcoming, the owner thanked me for coming in Again.... this type of customer service is un heard of in this day and age. Totally appreciated, Again the staff at the counter more than pleasant, so helpful and knowledgeable. I had the Indian Burger and Marsala Fries, I can confidently say I've never had a burger that had so much flavour... like Mc Donalds who? The fries where so crispy and flavourful. The burger again.. was amazing.
** I would like to add I was there while training was happening. I'm telling you the positive talk, the encouragement, after the task was complete even the owner clapped for a job well done. This is the type of environment you want to support!!!
TL/DR - Absolutely fantastic establiment, amazing food, great clean atmosphere, wonderful staff and owner.

Read moreNot the traditional and authentic Indian experience I am used to from Scarborough/Toronto restaurants like Vindaloo, Biryani House, Mayur, but they put an interesting "twist" in combining Indian flavours in unconventional ways. "The Meat Meal" was a very nice way to try several items for one affordable price, instead of having to order individual dishes separately, like at traditional Indian restaurants. The butter chicken is much less creamy and more bitter/acidic than I am used to, but still had nice flavours. Saag Paneer was really good. Added the beef stew, which was fairly good as well. The basmati rice and samosas were very good. Naan bread was kind of disappointing as it was more doughy and not crispy outside, like I'm used to. The mango Lassi is more like a mango smoothie and less flavourful than the ones I'm used to. Realized after we got home that we got charged extra for the naan bread, which was supposed to be included with the price of "The Meat Meal". Overall, although not as authentic as a traditional Indian restaurant, it was well worth a try and I think the flavours/items would pair very well in one of their wraps. A very nice Indian "fast food" experience option for Lindsay.
Update: Management promptly reached out personally to address the minor issues mentioned above. They clearly have a commitment to the satisfaction of...
Read moreI've always said there was a missed opportunity when it came to Indian cuisine and the fast food market. In recent years, a number of new restaurants have embraced this ideology, creating a new fast food category, Indian fast food.
Twisted Indian is the latest chain to bring this to market, offering a fun selection of Indian street foods full of flavor. Taking it one step further, they create hybrid offerings that incorporate traditional fair such as burgers, pizza, burritos, paninis, and turn them into Indian versions that elevate them.
In our last visit, we tried a number of items... The Naanza, Naan Wrap, The Naanwich, Masala Fries and more. All were excellent! In these options, we tried the Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka and Beef Curry proteins, along with basmati rice and various toppings including pickled onions, cilantro, jalapeños, hot chutney, garlic lime sauce and more. All the items were hot, fresh and packed full of flavor.
If you're looking for something new to try, that's a fun new take on fast food, Twisted Indian is definitely worth a try. Highly...
