I was quite excited that Taco Bell would be returning to Lindsay. At first, everything was great - the staff was quick and friendly and the food was always correct. But this great experience would not last.
After a few months of not visiting, I had a craving for a long-time comfort food, nacho cheese fries. I drove across town, placed my order and received it very quickly. Upon returning home, the one item I had wanted was absent from the bag. I called to inform them of the error, and they told me they would take my name and 'put it on the manager's bulletin board' so I could get a replacement upon my next visit. This was not satisfactory, as I wanted what I ordered and paid for that evening. So, I drove back across town to retrieve the missing fries. No apology, nothing.
A few months later, the same craving hit, and having been disappointed before but wanting to give the benefit of the doubt, I returned and placed an order. Exact same outcome. Only this time I did not call, and did not want to drive across town and back again, so I went to Pizza Pizza and ordered fries that were hot, freshly made and served with a smile. I vowed I would never return to Taco Bell.
This evening I found myself in the area and against my better judgement I returned, promising that before I pulled away, I'd check the bag for fries. I returned home, enjoyed my cheese fries and thought all the mistakes were flukes. Imagine my surprise when I opened my soft tacos to find the lettuce I asked to avoid (twice) was indeed there. In addition to having to scrape lettuce out of the tacos, I had to remove the pathetic amount of cheese as well. I was relieved at opening the hard shell tacos to find they did not have lettuce, as removing that would have been impossible, but the shells were soggy and broken. The pepsi tasted like brown water, no carbonation...disgusting.
I will NEVER be returning. Absolute garbage, a waste of money and total...
Read morePlaced an order around 9 pm at drive thru- no one in line and no one in restaurant , ordered #3 combo soft with reg fries and a second #3 soft w/fries supreme- they passed me My drink and asked me to move out to the front to wait- waited 15 min, food was brought out, I checked the bag- no fries supreme just 2 nacho fries. Went inside- the woman working told me I didn’t order what I ordered, then they made the fries supreme and as I am waiting I see they also made 2 hard tacos instead of soft… the woman then argued again and then finally made the correct items… the soft taco were soaking wet like water was all over it , disgusting food prep, disgusting service, they didn’t even offer a refund for any of the errors…. The basic customer service is not even there … I don’t have high expectations for a fast food restaurant .. however I do expect that when you order and is is repeated to you as well as in the screen that they get the order correct… and if a customer finds an error you just apologize and make the right item right away .. we know what we ordered.. terrible service and quality is sooo poor and sloppy .. and when there are no other customers and it takes 15 min to prepare its should be right, side note the prep area was a mess with boxes and papers on the floor out in the open for anyone to see.. just gross … there should be someone making sure this place is clean and free of garbage. Also apparently they no longer make regular fries just these nasty nacho fries … they argued with me on that as well like I should know a month ago they took away a staple item and replaced it with something else… regular fries does not mean powder coated under cooked fries with plastic...
Read moreI recently visited Taco Bell. The food was exactly what you'd expect from Taco Bell – flavorful, indulgent, and satisfying. I ordered a Crunchwrap Supreme, which was well-prepared and packed with the signature ingredients. The tacos were fresh and had a good balance of textures between the crispy shell and the fillings. The staff was friendly and efficient. My order was taken quickly, and I didn’t have to wait long for the food. However, it was a busy time, so the seating area was slightly messy. The employees did their best to keep up with cleaning, though. The atmosphere is casual, as expected from a fast-food restaurant. The dining area was fairly standard but could have been cleaner during peak hours. It's a comfortable spot for a quick bite, though not somewhere you’d spend a long time. Taco Bell offers great value for money. The portions were generous for the price, and the combo meals are a good deal if you're looking for a quick, affordable meal. Taco Bell delivers exactly what you want from a fast-food Mexican-inspired place – tasty, budget-friendly food in a laid-back setting. There’s always room for improvement in cleanliness during busy times, but the overall experience...
