I've never had a worse experience in my entire life that any restaurant let alone any A&W especially the service had screwed up my order through the drive-thru I tried calling the next day on that night and I got a busy signal the first night was a very fast-paced busy signal so I could not get through to anybody I don't know what was going on the following day I was at work I tried calling on a couple of my brakes and then when I did finally make a phone complaint that came in person I was told that I must be a liar basically that they hadn't screwed my order up because I did not receive a receipt on my bag now wasn't carelessness on my behalf it was due to the fact that you know what I don't know how many times you don't receive a receipt on your bag in your bag at fast food restaurants very impressive put in a formal complaint to head office in Vancouver and I have not received any information back or even a phone call yet or an email back as well as the fact that I had what was called a a shift manager tell me with a condescending attitude sarcasm and basically all around ignorance and I was a liar offer me a meal that wasn't satisfactory to what they had screwed up my order it was an entire order a large order for for adults a teen Burger meal exchange for for adult meals with extra perks that I paid for I work full-time as a red seal chef I just got diagnosed with lung cancer and I'm being made and belittled to look as if I'm a thief or a liar in the restaurant very not impressed I do not recommend it whatsoever and it's not the first time it's happened to this location that's what Highway 97 and leaf head in Kelowna bc thank you...

I recently visited your drive-thru and placed an order for three Masala Veggie Burgers. I specifically requested that the burgers be made "fresh" and was told that there was no issue with waiting. I confirmed this at the window, and the staff assured me that the burgers would be prepared fresh for me. However, what I received was far from fresh. The burgers tasted reheated and soggy, not at all the quality I expected after being told they would be made fresh.

Additionally, I’d like to point out that the drive-thru was not busy at all. In fact, I had enough time to listen to a song that lasts 2:35 minutes while waiting, and my order was handed to me before the song even finished. If it truly takes "3-4 minutes" to prepare fresh burgers, as one of your staff members later claimed, how was I given my food so quickly?

When I called to address the issue, the response I received was even more disappointing. The first person I spoke with told me that it should take around 3-4 minutes to prepare the burgers. When I asked to speak to someone else, I was transferred to another employee who suggested I "call back tomorrow if I want to fight." This is unacceptable customer service.

Finally, I reached out to another A&W location on Harvey Avenue, and after confirming with their kitchen staff, I was informed that it takes 4.5 minutes just to cook the patty alone. So how is it possible that my order was prepared and handed over in such a short amount of time?

I expect a proper explanation for the discrepancy between what was promised and what was delivered. If fresh food is not a priority for your team, then I’ll have to reconsider my future...

I'm a fan of A&W food. It's probably my favourite fast food burger joint... much more so than McDonald's, DQ and many others.

The food quality at this location was great - no complaints... 5 stars for the food.

We used the drive-thru. Uncle & Teen burger with no onions and 1 order of fries for me, and some other food for the rest of the family (1 wife. 2 kids).

The bill came out to $35.88. Seemed a bit high but I know A&W costs more than McD's.

We get our food. Drive away, to a friends place. When we open the bag. Two fries. They charged us for two fries - can you believe it? That's a $4.55 bill or whatever that we didn't have to spend. That's $4.55 I don't have to spend on a tall flat white at Starbucks.

AND... onions on my burger. For real. Big purple onions. I don't like onions. Onions don't like me. Onions make my body do things that make others not like me... when they should be no liking the onions. It is, however, super easy to pick them off... because they are BIG purple onions (easy to identify from the three anorexic pickles along side them).
