MADE IN INDIA RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Kelowna

I am giving the hwy 97 location 2 stars because, while the food is tasty, they haven't been able to get our take-out order right, yet. Previously, my husband and I had always ordered from the KLO location and we will go back to doing so.

On our first attempt at ordering take-out from the hwy 97 location they left out 1 order of butter chicken, despite the fact that the receipt confirmed we paid for it. We called and they said they would make a note that they owed us an order of butter chicken the next time we ordered (we live in West Kelowna so a return trip for the missing dish was not reasonable at that time).

Last night, we decided to order take out again. We ordered a few dishes, including the butter chicken we were owed and an order of prawn korma. Instead of receiving 1 prawn korma and 1 butter chicken, they mixed butter chicken into the prawn korma in 1 container (the size of which is for 1 curry, not 2). To be clear, we would never ask for dishes to be combined like this, especially as one of our family members who was eating with us has an allergy to prawns that results in anaphylaxis. So, they technically gave us 1/2 an order of prawn korma and 1/2 and order of butter chicken, even though we paid for a full order of each, and by mixing them together (seriously, why?) they made the dish unsafe to eat for our teenager.

When we called, they said we could have another order of butter chicken at our next visit but we will not be ordering from this location again. THIS was their chance to fix their mistake and rather than make it better they only...

I am really disappointed that there is no option to give 0 stars. I had placed my order through Uber eats around 8:15 pm on Oct 20, 2024 and scheduled it for 9:30-10 pm delivery. My wife was fasting the whole day and this was going to be her meal after 12 hours of fasting. The restaurant kept delaying the order and finally when I called them around 9:45 pm to enquire more about what is happening, a girl picked up the call and gave absolutely no explanation about the incident or the issue and left the phone unattended. I could hear everything what they were talking about in the background since they were talking about how they messed up our order. I was thinking I am on hold and she is confirming the status, however I heard her telling the other person to turn off the lights and close the restaurant and at that time I realised that she never intended to solve my issue. I hung up and called again and number started giving the busy tone. I understand that may be you guys forgot to prepare our order or whatever the reason was; however the least she could do was give me an explanation so that I could look into other options in time since many of the restaurants are already closed at this time. Worst service ever. Good customer service is as important as good food. Hope the owner or the manager can look into whoever was working that shift and talk to your staff about basics of...

I ordered cholay bhatura and when I got home and opened the meal I found 4 missing bhatura and instead they added random alloo kul something (looks like stuffed naan)..anyway I called the commerce location back asking what happened and the front desk girl tells me they ran out of bhatura mix so threw in the other things I didn't order and I told her shouldn't they have told me they didn't have enough before throwing things in and not even telling me when I picked up my food..and I told her my dad needs to eat now and doesn't have any so she tells me to call the KLO location. I then asked her to ask the other location for me as I don't want to pay delivery fee so she calls me back saying they will give us 5 bhatura (1 free) but will not be delivering and I have to go get them...(alright whatever) I asked from what location and she says commerce..when I asked her how did they magically get the flour now (within 5-10 min) she doesn't answer my question but says "this was our error" and I further re-ask her stating what she said before and now and she hung up on me!! I will NOT be going to this restaurant anymore (and I've ordered from...
