Visited again 1st Dec 2023: Tried their bison burgers as usual but this time around they were ok. Service was also subpar. They took the order but got a different burger and then went again to rectify it which again took 10-15 mins. Service anyways is super slow and with mistakes it takes more time. I have also noticed that their cocktails have very little to no alcohol and they fill the glass with ice so this time I asked for no ice hence I got half a glass but still the alcohol added was very less. They really skimp on that. Beer is the best bet if you can drink that, atleast you know you are getting a glass of it.
Visited again: Again tried their Bison Burgers and trust me they were delish than before. Highly recommended!!
Update: Visited again, this time dine in rather than take away that too for late night deals. It's 50% off on burgers with an order of a drink for late night deals starting at 9pm. So to get 50% off on burgers you need to order a drink, any drink from the menu. So one on one. Tried their Lamb and Bison burgers. Bison burger was so good and worth it. If you haven't tried their burgers then visit them preferably after 9 to grab the deal. Service was good too but was super slow 🐌. I also subbed for gluten free bun for an additional $2.50, it's made with rice and potato flour. It tastes more like potatoes. I also subbed for strawberry cheese salad instead of the fries for an additional $3. There was hardly any cheese or strawberries so instead go for their house salad which is free. Also, better be ready with your order the moment you get seated to save some time. We placed the order twice and were there for nearly 2 and a half hours. They also serve complimentary house made potato chips before the order but do not refill it no matter how many are seated. Ambience and seating was good. Highly recommend the Bison 🦬 burgers. Will be back to try more. Changing the rating from 1 to 4.
Ordered Chicken Burger for $18+, burger tasted ok but it's exorbitantly priced compared to the food size. If something at this price tag cannot satisfy a single person then I think it's high time you think of the portioning served. You mention that you add 1 Chicken breast but it's technically just half because you cut it in half. I have attached the pics, you can check for yourself. For $20, I can make 3 Chicken burgers (with 3 full Chicken Breasts), so what you are serving is just a fraction, absolutely not worth. I would suggest to avoid this place and choose a place who gives better value...
Read moreUPDATE: Went back - ordered a 63 Acres Permium BC Beef burger - is not executed as well as the Wagyu - it's my second one, but they are thin and cooked too much in my opinion. Too black, almost burnt. Crispy on the outside. The Wagyu was juicy so I don't know. UPDATE: Went back for a second tasting, and it was way better. Had the Bin 190 "That's Cheriffic" with the Wagyu beef - it was juicy, well prepared, deep flavor and the pickled cherries added a balanced pickle flavour to the mushroom and bacon ragout. Really delicious. Perhaps the previous burger ("63 Acres Premium Beef" ) just didn't have enough fat content. Cheers. Previous 3 Star review: TLDR - this might not be a fair review considering I don't eat buns (KETO Diet) but this place probably needs a 2nd visit to bump this star rating up. My burger "Dirty Burbon" was dry, however, my wife's chicken "Bistro Burger" was fabulous. This place came highly recommended. At first glance at the menu, I can see why. Promises of things to come seemed incredible. We took a long time to decide because they all seemed so good. Burgers of Wagyu beef, lamb, and bison etc. This is no ordinary burger place. Eventually, I settled for the "Dirty Burbon" - bunless of course - to stay within my Keto-carb-limits (see the picture of the bunless burger). I was hoping for a burger dripping in deep, rich flavored BBQ sauce that fell apart in my mouth and all over the plate. It came topped with an onion ring filled with Chorizo sausage. Oh and you can order a dipping sauce for your burger, I chose the spicey Lime and Tomatillo sauce because I thought I was going to get a dripping BBQ Burger and it would add a little zing. Well, the burger came and I ate my deep-fried pickles when the waiter asked how everything was. I responded "Great!" but by the time I got into the burger, I was a little underwhelmed. I should have ordered more BBQ Sauce - it wasn't dripping in sauce. Also, the burger was hard and dry. I was a little underwhelmed. I am not sure the bun would have saved this, but to defend the place, my wife's "Bistro Burger" was one of the best chicken burgers I have eaten. Incredibly moist, well-cooked chicken with rich satisfying flavors. So, I will probably give this place one more try and try the Wagyu to see if it is any moister - the "63 Acres Premium Beef" was not...
Read moreusually this place is VERY good!!!! Sadly last time we were here, the service was SUPER slow though but hey it’s sometimes it’s just like that but yet again, so was tonight…… My boyfriend and I came in at 9:55pm with only 3 tables inside and two servers on the floor. We ordered drinks and ordered food shortly after… Our fries and burgers were completely cold. They also forgot a veggie topping on each one of the burgers as well though I recall the gal writing down our order.. We never recieved a quality check once on our food. The buns were harder and dry and the veggie burger I had was completely falling apart and didn’t taste like it had really even been cooked. Just kinda thrown in a ball and on top a bun it felt like. The fries weren’t only cold but they were pretty dark and hard and just crumbled bits… once she came by to pick up one of our plates(my plate-that had almost all the fries on it and half a burger picked apart)she never asked how it was… she simply just asked if she could take the plate away. When she came back after my significant other had finished she asked if we wanted anything else and that was it. We were disappointed big time. This place is special to us as we had our very first date here two years ago… To see our personal experience go down more everytime we come is saddening. I totally understand it was 10pm at night and I’m sure the girls were just ready to go home but the food should never come out cold and I feel like the hustle should just be a little more on point until the last table walks out the door for the night. We hope this is reviewed and Things between kitchen and staff are worked out and we hope next time we have a date night that our experience will be much better...
