Food was good but not amazing. Place was clean but tiny which was understandable as it was inside Microtel. Service could’ve been better as we waited for almost an hour to get our food and also had to ask for condiments which we expected should’ve been a given. We tried to order certain items from their menu but were told they weren’t available or out of stock so kind of disappointed. Why even list these on the menu? The tapsilog I ate could’ve used a bit more meat given the proportion of fried rice and eggs and the beef had lots of fat. Bulalo tasted good but too much pepper. Lastly, very expensive for pinoy food. I understand that it’s a bar & bistro hence the “elevated” pinoy dining experience but not at those prices. I wasn’t looking for fast food eatery prices and didn’t mind paying a bit more but for the price I paid, I could’ve gotten better value at places like Moxies or CC. Tried to like the place but sadly won’t be going back there anytime soon. Best of luck to their...
Read moreI moved from Manitoba to Kelowna about a month ago. And I've been searching for Filipino restaurant, and there's limited choices. So I tried this place, called my order in for pick up. So I paid about $40 for 2 meals, mine and my wife's. I was kinda surprised that it was that expensive, but if it was good food I won't complain. Taste was ok, portions was on the smaller side, and I'm not a large eater. I wasn't full when I finished my meal, my wife wasn't either. Maybe it's a Kelowna thing or a BC thing, but I was expecting for that price a filling meal. It's not fancy dining, it was a typical Filipino breakfast. I'm disappointed but there isn't very many choices to get Filipino food. Might return, might look for other...

Had an amazing meal at Jeepney Republiq, tucked inside the Park Inn by Radisson in Kelowna—a true hidden gem!
We tried the crispy pata, chicken inasal, dinuguan, lumpiang Shanghai and sinigang na hipon—all spot on. That crispy pata was perfectly crunchy, the inasal packed with flavour, the dinuguan rich and comforting, and the sinigang? Sarap asim!
They’ve got all the Pinoy faves—BBQ, halo-halo, peanuts, crispy chicken skin, bubble tea, and more. Simple spot, but the food really speaks for itself. Plus, the staff are super friendly and welcoming.
