Butter Chicken House Harrison Indian Restauant — Restaurant in Kent

We sampled a few combo dishes, butter sauce with 'cottage cheese' (aka paneer) and curry sauce with chickpeas, along with 'veggie fritters' (aka pakoras) and garlic & plain naan. We tried to add samosas to the order, but since they aren't posted as an option on their online menu system, I added a note requesting them -- but were not included. They seem to be struggling with their menu and online ordering system, so ordering cottage cheese and fritters seemed a bit odd, but not a deal breaker.

The pakoras and veggie spring rolls were good, but they came in a box with soggy salad bits and dressing. The combo meals were okay (the rice was good) but it seemed the curry chickpeas were under or over cooked as they had extremely hard pieces, which we had to spit out. At first I thought the hard bits were from the burnt naan, but I didn't want to pick through everything on my plate to find out. We ordered enough to have leftovers, but ended up throwing it all out.

I hate to leave negative reviews, but they need to fix their menu to add more traditional options and remove salads from being in the same boxes as the warm/fried foods. I'm not sure I'd try Butter Chicken House again given the unknown, unchewable pieces of hard substances found within the...

I ordered the 3pc chicken meal and the appetizer calamari. The food was delicious. The calamari was battered, but not crispy as I had expected, it was delicious nonetheless. The squid was covered in a tasty sauce and the texture was perfect. The chicken was crispy and juicy, not at all oily. The fries were good as well.

On a separate occasion, I also had their (extra hot) butter chicken with naan and rice. It was delicious and I would definitely go back for more.

The only complaint I have is with how the tip is handled. I placed the order online through their website, and at the checkout screen you have the option to tip. I added a tip, and when the delivery people arrived, they gave me the card reader to pay, and this is where I got confused. The card reader has tipping options, and I tipped on the card reader thinking that the tip I put through the online order wasn't added to my bill. However, when I looked at my receipt, it says that a tip had already been added to my total. So I ended up double tipping the drivers. I recently visited Butter Chicken House with my wife, and we had an absolutely amazing experience! From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality. Sneha made our visit truly special with her kind and graceful demeanor. Her attention to detail and friendly attitude made us feel so welcomed and cared for.

We enjoyed a variety of dishes – Samosa, Paneer Pakora, Kadhai Paneer, Gulab Jamun, and Kheer – and every single item was absolutely delicious. The samosas were crispy and flavourful, the paneer pakora was fresh and perfectly spiced, and the kadhai paneer was rich, aromatic, and full of authentic taste. The desserts were the perfect ending – warm, soft Gulab Jamun and creamy, comforting Kheer that reminded us of home.

The ambiance, the food, and the hospitality were all exceptional. We recommend to everyone visiting Harrison Springs – if you’re looking for a satisfying Indian meal, Butter Chicken House is a must-try! We’re definitely coming back on...
