When we first got sat, we asked if the drinks were fountain or regular and we were told fountain. It felt like it was taking forever to get our drinks (At least 15 minutes), and when i looked over to the bar, i see the two employees leaning on the bar and chatting. One glances over, sees me looking, does a double take, and finally starts to pour our drinks. I see her cracking open cans to pour into our glasses, not fountain soda, and later when we asked for refills, (which also took an unreasonably long time considering the restaurant wasn’t busy) they only refilled 2/4 glasses, and left the other 2 empty glasses at the table for the rest of the night and instead just gave us two cans of soda for our ‘refills’
When asked if we needed a few minutes to decide what to eat/drink, the waiter just stood at the edge of our table the entire time waiting and staring at us. Felt a bit rushed. He was new so i don’t blame him too much for that but it was a bit uncomfortable and worth mentioning.
We ordered two pizzas which both came undercooked, the dough was undercooked on both, one tasted like a bad store-bought frozen pizza and the vegetables on the second pizza were near raw, We sent them both back almost immediately.
The chicken fingers were very good, as well as the fries and gravy. The wings were pretty alright too, as well as the burgers. I’d recommend any of those for sure.
A well warning that there IS a strobe light on the ceiling and when they switch it on, it swings around every which direction projecting laser designs onto the floor and walls. These kept hitting me directly in the eyes every few minutes, and also flashed directly on top of a group of girls who were sat at the table directly underneath it. Not a safe establishment for those with migraines, autism, epilepsy or other impairments to flashing lights.
Also, warning that the burgers come stabbed with a very sharp steak knife, which was ordered for the youngest child of our family. Our waiter seemed confused about why when we asked him to take the knife away.
A nice atmosphere, and nice seating/decor, it might be cool to visit one of their bar nights, but personally, we came here while on vacation and likely won’t...
Read moreSomebody had said it was bad food and unclean. Later there was a rebuttal from someone saying this is untrue. That it is a wonderful place. That a health inspector came it was all clean and it was an attack on the owner etc. Well I am here to tell you that the information provided by the first poster is indeed true. We recently went there to check out the “10 dollar” breakfast. The place IS indeed filthy, upon entry the first the you see is Christmas party still written on the white board on the door. Why can’t this be wiped off by July? Next thing you see is the filthy floors, unswept unwashed. Next thing you see is the dirty glass doors / windows with finger prints all over them. Go try the washroom, again filthy. Then a baby in the restraunt in a bed who is assumed to be the owners? I’m sure that’s not up to code either. So then you order the food. You get served a “4 dollar coffee” in a dirty unwashed cup!!!!! Wow! They serve us 2 breakfasts 10 minutes apart? So the other person has to wait? The food was horrible. Nasty hashbrowns, uncooked bacon and sausage. The server had no personality much less any English. If the rest of the restraunt is uncleaned and not to mention the sticky table with some kind of residue on it, then what is the kitchen like. I would highly advise NOT going to this restraunt. I think the owners of this restraunts plan is to undercut other restraunts in the area. Well just to let you know it’s really not a 10 dollar breakfast after you buy your 4 dollar coffee served in a dirty cup. The original poster was right is all I can say. Go elsewhere for food even if it costs you a few dollars...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I have come twice already! Great service and very friendly! Food is always delicious too, try a milkshake, they are awesome!😄
Just a few things to note as to why I didn’t give 5 stars: It seems like the western style food is decently priced, but the Indian style Cuisine had us a bit confused. We ordered butter chicken assuming it comes with rice (as normally, other restaurants have rice come with the butter chicken) and have to order naan on the side, no problem! The serving sizes are wonderful, but for $18 you don’t get rice or bread. So another $8 added on to the bill. It’s not the end of the world lol it’s just a bit pricey to then have to order the rest.
As well, the amount of chicken in the butter chicken seems to be slightly lacking. The last time we came we had a total of 9 pieces with a large amount of the sauce. Now, I’m not sure the proper or traditional way that Indian style food is served, as I am white lol so I apologize if this is wrong on my part!
Just some things to note for the owner who is doing great already! Just a few small tweaks...
