I stepped in this cute little place on a whim and was delighted I did! I had a lovely raspberry-lime sorbetto, and took some sourdough buns and a cherry scone to enjoy later (these were excellent as well - real sourdough!). I was happy to see real spoons used for samples (rather than single use plastic) and I was so pleased to be given the option to have my sorbetto in a glass jar to eat on the spot, saving the one-time use disposable cup. This tiny bakery is a gem in Kimberly BC. We got the Artisan Sourdough they are - rightly - famous for with a crust that could only come from years of tradition and expertise (see picture). NOT pictured - as they were devoured faster than a picture could be taken - were their amazing muffins (apple/blueberry & coconut/chocolate chip) & their delectable cinnamon bun (with or without icing, your choice). Though not a "sit down" place we enjoyed our treats a few blocks away at the open...

Popped in today and snagged a couple of cinnamon buns - great dough and perfect amount of cinnamon. No need for icing they were perfect without. Also got some raisin bread which mad awesome sandwiches, the salted chocolate rye cookie surprised me with how good it was. Bagels for breakfast tomorrow. The couple who owns the bakery...
