We love the no waste take of this place.. But as tourists it was very dissapointing there was zero options for take out at 3:50 after a day on the hill. Walk 20 steps away and they were more than happy to take our 50$ cash.. Maybe a discount to people who know and bring their own to go would make business sense or an option to purchase a eco friendly compostable cup. There was 2 other customers behind us at the coffee shop ready to serve us saying the same thing. Morals aside the cups are getting bought in kimberley.. Would probably go back to try the coffee tomorrow as the beans seem well loved by the locals but they close at 4, when the hill closes.
To your reply. We were never offered any of those! Would have loved to purchase a mug for 1$ or 5...Never good to build a Google review up with lies. Went from 2 stars to 1.would have also purchased beans online but with no organic options its suprising to hear you care about the environment so much serving the most heavily sprayed crop in the world to your customers... And "my big 50$ bill, snarky comment was wild and very non-organic of you..Careful your True colors...

Changing some of the review stars, however, I think it's fair and important to let others know that if you go to this coffee shop you may not be able to enjoy a coffee haha. I can't find anything on their website or Google info that says they don't offer to-go cups. It's a fairly important disclaimer in my opinion as not everyone is armed with their own go-mug everywhere they go. Furthermore get off your high horse. Find a solution, compostable cups, recycled material cups, there are plenty of good options available if you make the effort. BUT if your mandate is no paper cups, ever, fine, but make that well known to someone passing through looking for a coffee in town (maybe you've buried it in your socials). Best of luck and next time I have my Yeti on a stroll through Kimberly I will definitely pop in to try a...
Read moreMade a trip out to Kimberley in order to check this roaster out and was not disappointed! The owner clearly has a passion for coffee and was not afraid to share it. Had an espresso and a couple lattes (my wife also had a chai she quite enjoyed) during my visit and all the drinks were immaculately done - showing off all the best parts of each of the coffees in them. Definitely a hidden gem and well worth the trip out that direction. I will be looking to head back here the next time I'm within a...
