I would have a hard time believing this actually happened if it hadn’t happened to me. I ordered a McCrispy chicken sandwich combo, and asked to please have it made fresh, meaning the meat cooked to order so its hot. After waiting for 30+ minutes in a parking spot, when i did get my food, there were TWO BITES taken out of my sandwich.
Definitely the most insane thing I’ve ever seen. Im not sure if this was to spite me or an employee accidentally swapped out their food with mine; whatever the case was, I wanted to know why and how this happened. I pulled up to the drive thru and explained that my sandwich had already been partially eaten and i was just confused as to what had happened. (I want to clarify that I was never rude or aggressive or angry during any of this exchange, I work in the service industry and I understand the hardships and stress that come with the working at somewhere like McDonalds, so I wasn’t some crazy person having a bad day and taking it out on the staff.)
I was asked, again, to wait at a parking space and the manager would come out to see me. It was night time so i couldn’t walk in the restaurant and talk to someone myself. After 10+ minutes, someone started to approach the front doors to talk to me, and then decided against it. This person then turned around and shut off all the lights in the dining area, as if to hide themselves. Maybe they thought by doing this id just go away. And I probably should have, I was wondering to myself how the hell did i just waste an hour of my life at a McDonalds drive thru? If it was something more minor i would have gave up, but this seemed like too big an issue to ignore.
My third trip around the drive thru, after not being seen by a manager outside, was to simply ask for a refund and a receipt (something they hadn’t provided in my bag prior) so that i at least had some proof of this interaction.
I don’t usually leave reviews, especially negative ones, but i feel that i would be doing the public a disservice if i didnt make people aware of this...
Read moreWas denied from buying a drink. I asked nicely if they can mix fruitopia with sprite and they had done it for me few times. They said it’s automatic, policy won’t allow them, owner, supervisor and manager also won’t allow them. Then they just literally stopped responding from the drive thru and I had to drive to the window.
At the window they told me I have to pay for two drink for a mixed one. They said I have to buy two small ones they can mix it in a large. I said I’d pay for a large one and you can put two smalls into a large since small is 250ml x 2 = large which is 500ml, they become confused. As we were trying get it work, another employee appeared out of nowhere saying if I’m not buying anything I need to leave because I’m holding the line? Like bro, don’t you see I’m trying to get it work? At this point I just left. What a waste of time no wonder this place gets only 3 stars.
Sorry about having an attitude but I was being nice and asking nicely too before this bs happens. Why do you have to make things harder? I’m trying to make it work and you just tell me to leave? It does not matter if I’m only buying a...
Read moreThis McDonald's was really on their game. I wanted to use my winnings and speak to a physical person, which was there to greet me within 15 seconds. Not horrible. The food was fantastic because it was free. We had coffee, tea, medium fries and apple pie. These were really good fries (burn your mouth hot and a bit greasy!!!), the way it should always be. Im also always 420'd so they were REALLY good lmao. Coffee and tea were perfect as always and the apple pie tasted like pineapple. It was free though. The women's restroom needed attention, but that's nothing. Their customer service was outstanding, hands down one of the best McDonald's I've been to in Ontario! I wish I got names but there were three that stood out. Order taker, young woman who got me salt and the young man who was just behind her were...
