In BC a hundred years ago well maybe not that many I used to eat tea biscuits for breakfast from a restaurant I waitressed in. When I moved to Ontario to take care of brother I could not find them and it was difficult. I eventually got addicted to croissants. I have had other things that just haven't satisfied my desires. Your scones with fruit are amazing and made me very happy. Then one day I got a loaf of bread with dried fruit in it when I cut into it my heart sank with something I hadn't seen in awhile. The loaf was brownish with lumps sorta of and the dried fruit was in it. I cut a slice and toasted it. Slathered it with butter and had a bite. My eyes closed with so much love for the taste, texture, the feel. With every chew it brought me back to a life without so much heart ache as I have now. I eat every single piece of this bread feeling so good it brings me to tears. So thank you. Though I can't afford to really shop in your store for financial reasons I do get your bread from the food places. I am so thankful you donate and help people in need and give so much satisfaction to people like myself. Again thank you for some good memories in my life and...
Read moreReally a bad experience, the customer service can be that bad, I cannot even imagine that someone can be really bad at their job. We just when there and nothing was written out side about if they were open or close and door was open, they had 5-6 employees working there we went in and one employee told us they were close we said “ok” but just have quick question about something. The other employee came out and literally pushed us out of store and said “ we are close we can’t answer any questions” I work in food business too , at manager level and when we were already in it could have being a great experience if they were educated and trained properly how to handle situations and still make every customer happy. So we could have told there people good things about them. I will post every review possible on where they have only...
Read moreI used to go out of my way to go to the Cobs at the Boardwalk, so I was thrilled when this location opened up! The owner is incredibly friendly and goes out of her way to make her customers feel like they really matter. Whether it’s stopping for a quick chat or giving helpful information about the products, she goes above and beyond for her customers. Her staff are all awesome as well, so buying bread and desserts here always feels like a treat. I don’t think I’ve ever had anything here that I didn’t like and they make sourdough so amazing, I buy at least 2 loaves a week and I always find something else to buy, too (let’s not talk about how much bread I consume, ok?). I highly...
