Nostra Cucina — Restaurant in Kitchener

7 years ago, my company would order from here twice per month and I would always look forward to those days. Having switched jobs and moved, I don't get the chance to eat here as often anymore but it is still incredible.

I don't even know where to begin. My wife asked me what I recommended and I had trouble not just reading the entire menu to her. The Italian PLT Panino is one of the greatest sandwiches I have ever had. The pancetta is so good and every part of the sandwich complements every other part.

The Oven-Toasted Steak Sandwich is so, so good...and the cheese sauce on it is outstanding!

The Muffaletta...I don't know where the magic starts. Perhaps it is the olive salad that is made in-house, perhaps it is the mix of mozzarella and provolone, perhaps it is the blend of meats...all I know is that this is incredibly delicious.

And 'The Love'. The Love. This is the best veal sandwich I have ever had. It is piled so high...there is so much veal in this sandwich that you have to squish the sandwich down in order to eat it. It is incredible.

And the people running Nostra Cucina are so friendly to their customers. Honestly, if you're looking for great sandwiches at a great price served by incredible people, give this place a try. It's my favourite take-out place in the tri-cities by a wide,...

Absolute Awesome Sauce!

I stopped by Nostra Cucina about a month ago to try their "Award Winning" Veal Sandwich. I was most definitely not disappointed and can confidently say it more than lived up to the hype! It was far and away one of the best sandwiches I have had in ages. All the ingredients were fresh and of the highest quality, it literally blew my taste buds away. It was very obvious to me that this sandwich was made with love!

Since my original visit I have been back once or twice a week and am working my way through their menu one meal at a time. I have yet to run into anything that was not amazing and delicious, quality is something you can rely on when visiting NC. I honestly didn't think I could love anything as much as I love their Veal Sandwich, but I tried the Steak Sandwich today for lunch and I have to say it more than held it's own. It will most definitely not be the last time I order that tasty little treat!

I do not often do reviews, but my experiences with Nostra Cucina have been so positive I feel it is my civic duty to spread the word of this amazing restaurants awesomeness to all who will listen.

I can NOT express my love for this place. Their muffuletta is my guilty everyday pleasure , I order one or 2 at a time and have a half everyday just because it’s soo amazing it gives me something to look forward to at the end of every long exhausting day it’s definitely my comfort and happiness food ! That doesn’t mean their other sandwiches don’t slap .. the veal sandwiches are on another lvl, best veal sando I’ve had .. their paninis are great and also couldn’t leave this review without a shout out to their ceaser salad with the home made croutons and dressing.

The owners are great people , they always remember you , friendly , happy to be doing what they love .

Don’t let the no seating and having to text in your orders detour you from eating here , you will definitely be missing out and I suggest texting in your order early they can sometimes get quite busy so you may have a longer wait if you don’t text it in early , you can even send your text before they open.

100/10 would suggest eating here , brining some home for your family to eat here or even share with the dog .. you have to...
