Came here for the first time for a quick lunch and was pleasantly surprised! Overall, would come back🌯
Ambience: Clean washrooms. Dining room was clean, spacious and simple decor and was quiet when we were in.
Food: Ordered the taco bowl with adobo chicken, a quesidilla with the same chicken and the tofu bowl.
Was my family's first time eating at a build your own mexican take out place and they enjoyed it. My brother has a lot of dietary issues so it was nice being able to build him a bowl that was easily customizable. The portions were really good and they did not skimp on the cheese for the quesidillias which I appreciated. I don't think they charged extra for the guac and queso either which was great. Everything tasted good and the tortilla bowls that both bowls were served in were delicious! Had the Nutella churros for dessert and only critique would be to give a second mini package of the Nutella to dip in, as one wasn't quite enough.
Customer service: Staff member was very friendly and patient while we figured out our order and brought our churros to our table so we didn't have to get up while eating which was nice.
Price: Average price for take out Mexican, a little higher than I'd like to pay for it but inflation sucks.
Accessibility: Large accessible washroom with automatic doors and handrails around toilet. Easy to navigate with a white cane. Even had a cute little accent wall. Only downfall was the automatic buttons for front doors were out of order when we went, so it was a little difficult to get in with someone with visual impairment, but other than that it is all flat with no steps so would be wheelchair/ walker accessible once the...
Read moreWe’ve been loyal customers at Qdoba, visiting more than once a week for quite some time. However, my daughter recently had an unpleasant experience that left us extremely disappointed.
On her last visit, she encountered an issue with the debit terminal, which did not provide an option to select between chequing or savings. As a result, she was unable to complete her payment—a situation completely beyond her control.
When she returned today at 3:20 PM, instead of being greeted with the friendly service we’ve come to expect, she was met with an unprofessional and rude remark: “Do you have money this time?” This is completely unacceptable. Despite her politely explaining the issue again and apologizing, she was treated with unnecessary hostility.
To make matters worse, when she asked for a cup—something she always receives with her order—she was flatly denied. When she questioned this, the employee curtly responded, “Since right now.” This kind of treatment toward a regular paying customer is beyond unprofessional.
We are extremely disappointed in this behavior and hope management takes the necessary steps to address it. No customer should ever be spoken to in such a disrespectful manner, especially over an issue caused by the restaurant’s own...
Read moreTerrible experience. Ordered the Cholula hot & sweet mac and cheese bowl. The chicken was taken from the warming tray, and put into another warming tray, and then reserve juices were poured over it from another tray of chicken that was warming in the back. The woman serving me was both rude, and oblivious as to what was supposed to go into my bowl. I had to point out things she missed putting into it, just from the description posted. What I ended up with was unappealing, ice cold and looked nothing like the picture of what I ordered. I also received a really small portion of food for the price paid, and the chicken had the weirdest texture. We also ordered the queso and chips, and I can honestly say, I’ve had better queso from 7/11. It had no flavour, no heat, and was quite pasty. I ordered a bottle of Jarrito, and asked the woman for the bottle opener. She had NO IDEA what I was talking about. Finally her coworker pointed out what was needed, and she just look dumbfounded that the bottle needed to be open.
All of this while she expected me to pay for my meal and provide her with my POV & identification at the exact same time.
The lime Jarrito was the best part of my lunch today, and I really have no intentions of giving this place...
