I had a special request, I was craving a cheese dog but cheese dogs are sorta hard to find, especially in Kitchener, a small city I was unexpectedly visiting in Southern Ontario. I looked at the menu for a few minutes until the bartender came back around to check on me. I looked up to the beautiful lady and said, âYou know what, I feel like a cheese dog, but I donât see any on the menuâ, and she replied, âSugar, we donât make cheese dogs around these parts of town, but a man like you shouldnât be eating a cheese dog, a man like you should be eating a chilli cheese dog with a side of crisps and a pickleâ. I was shocked, my mouth agape for a solid 2 minutes, I was literally speechless as I gazed into her beautiful eyes. I picked my jaw up off the floor and exclaimed âWell then thatâs what Iâll have. I suppose I shall engorge this chilli cheese dog, crisps and pickle sliceâ, as I slipped her a twoonie. If youâve never been to Canada, a twoonie is a Canadian $2 coin. The twoonie is worth approximately 20 USD, a big tip for a city where the minimum wage is 40 cents an hour.
In less than 5 minutes she returns with the most amazing looking cheese dog I have ever seen in my life. It was delicious. It had just the right amount of chilli and it was loaded with cheese, sour cream and bacon bits. I might even consider that cheese dog to have been the best thing I have ever tasted. The pickle had this perfect glistening effect, it was so juicy that I didnât even need a drink. It may have been the freshest pickle to ever grace a mans plate for lunch. I ate the pickle and tried hard to hide the tears of joy from the bartender as she watched me swallow the pickle whole.
The crisps were horrible, they were these weird long semi mushy / semi crispy things, nothing like the crisps we get back home in the UK. I threw them on the floor, emptied a whole bottle of ketchup on top of them and then stomped on them after eating just one of them. It looked like a big pile of coagulated blood when I was done squishing them on the floor. I had given her a huge tip after ordering before I even ate anything, a twoonie, equivalent to 20 USD, and she serves me crisps that are soft and rectangular? The only crisp Iâve ever eaten was round, skinny, and had a nice crispy sound when you crunches down on it. I can usually eat a handful of crisps at a time but these ones were so awkwardly shaped that you have to pick up one at a time? The potato inside these crisps is also somewhat mushy.
5/5 - I would return and order multiple chilli cheese dogs and pickles. If they ask me if I want crisps with my meal, well, I might just stand up and...

The day was seem to be a busy day , so I can understand a long waiting time. . . But dear Manager if you reading this take your notes
Nobody told us that the waiting time would be long or at least longer than usual
The tables were dirty, and was clean only half hour later when we asked
During our almost 1 hour wait time nobody come asked or offered any service
After 1 hour we were ready to leave, but we got lucky and the food came out, just to realize that my side dish was replaced in the last minutes , honestly if prior to that the waitress just was asking me if that's ok to change my side dish most likely that my response beas OK
To conclude we return both our dishes and left the place
Our planed order was supposed to be around 150$ + 20$ for a tip + good review
But instant you got 1 table occupied for 1 hour and got 11.5$ + bad review
