Kachori House Kitchener — Restaurant in Kitchener

We have been regular customers and drove over an hour to buy 7 plates of kachori from Kachori House, today roughly a couple of hours ago. Shockingly, one of the kachoris had a sharp glass or plastic piece inside it. By the time we noticed, a pregnant family member and a child had already consumed theirs. This could have caused a serious medical emergency.

When we immediately called to report it, the girl who answered the phone responded casually, saying she had "just come on shift" and didn’t know what to do—zero empathy, no apology, no concern. When I expressed my disappointment and said I had no option but to leave a review, she nonchalantly said, “please do… the owner will see it and ask us only, and I don't know what happened as I just came on the shift.” This level of indifference to customer safety and feedback is beyond unacceptable.

This experience was not just disappointing—it was disturbing. We’ve formally lost trust in this place and will never return. A serious wake-up call is needed for the team at Kachori House, especially if they believe nothing can affect...

We order kachori with aloo sabzi and kachori with sweet chutney on Uber eats, AUGUST 26 evening time around 8:30pm or so. First of all, this not the first time we order, we order multiple times, kachori meal and kachori with sweet chutney, and also have came for dine-in, many times. With yesterday's order, the aloo Sabzi was staled with pungent smell coming, which totally indicates the sabzi has gone bad 👎 and no longer fresh, and still you guys have serve that to customer. The smell, I cannot even explain in words how bad it was, as soon as we open the lid. Very disappointing and risking with customers health. Secondly, the kachori with sweet chutney, came without sweet chutney, I mean really, how misleading order packaging it was. We were so disappointed with the quality, quantity and service. Kachori House Kitchener is a nice spot for anyone who enjoys Indian snacks and fast food. I went there recently and tried their kachoris, samosas, and a few other items. The food was fresh and had a good balance of spices—flavorful but not too strong. The prices were fair for the portion sizes. The inside of the restaurant is clean and has simple seating, making it a good place for a quick meal or takeaway. The service was polite, but it took a little longer than expected to receive my order. Still, the staff were friendly and helpful when I asked for recommendations. I liked that they also had a variety of kachoris to choose from, which made the experience even better. Overall, Kachori House is a good place to enjoy Indian snacks, especially if you’re missing the street-style taste of India. I would definitely visit again and try more from their menu.
