Egg Roll King — Restaurant in Kitchener

Ordered delivery (over the phone) waited an hour only to be told it is $47 for this order. I ordered combination plate 4 and 6. Look at the prices, as I have provided a picture from their website. ($8.95 and $10.95) They also wanted to charge $7 for delivery and I live very close, and was not told what the price would be. So they arrive here and the poor delivery driver says this has happened before. He took the food back and now I am sitting here not sure what to do. I called them back and spoke to the owner and mentioned they were dishonest about the price and he just blamed me saying I should have known it would cost more based on what other restaurants charge. He said that must be old prices from 30 years ago, yet is likely not due to showing the 519 area code as we did not use that 30 years ago, but I digress. We ordered the combination plates from Egg Roll King yesterday and were eager based on the reviews and the fact that we have not been too impressed with the Chinese Food Restaurants in KW since we moved here. We read from the reviews that they are busy and tried to get through for over an hour. We were finally able to get through just after 7pm and we were told that the food would be fresh (keep in mind the restaurant closes at 9pm) Our food was delivered just after 8pm; although the portions were healthy the quality of food was not good at all. Our the kids (4) did not enjoy their meals.The quality of the food seemed to be that we were given what was left before they close. My husband's Rice had the clumped burned rice from the bottom of the pot all throughout his meal. The chicken balls seemed to be fried twice and the spring roll was mushy for each of the 6 combos we ordered.
