This was our first time visiting and definitely wont be our last; visited on a Saturday at 5:15pm.
Online reservations is easy and quick.
For first time visitors, the restaurant entrance is not clearly identified; it's not located towards the restaurant itself but rather througu plaza doors and then the actual entrance is inside the plaza. There is no clear sign on the outside of the building that states Graffiti Market and it took us a while to figure out how to get in through the plaza door.
There is plenty of free parking in the plaza lot.
Once inside you can ffeelthe atmosphere has a good energy; some tables even have interactive digital game tables for families to kill time while you are waiting for food.
There are plenty of staff on hand and service was quick and friendly.
The restaurant makes their pastas on site and is fresh not frozen. They even have a brewery onsite, Stock Yard Brewery, and is worth having.
Thier Detroit Style Pizza (a rectangular pan pizza with a thick, crisp, chewy crust) are made fresh with hand-stretched dough, and topped with local Brick + Mozzarella cheese. A small pizza is 4 squares, medium is 6 squares and large 8 squares; personally I am a big guy and have a healthy appetite and I couldn't finish my medium pizza.
This is a great place for a group dine in experience because they have large bench/tables to accommodate it.
Our salad appetizers come out quickly and we waited about 20 minntes for the entrees.
Caesar salad: well dressed with garlic dressing and very tasty; something we would order again although this was on the pricey side for the quantity.
Mushroom Rigatoni: OMG this blew us away! Fantastically prepared and the pasta was perfectly el dente. The flavors are delicious and something we would definitely order again.
Fungitown pizza: very well prepared and tasty. You will need a steak knife to cut it into smaller bite size pieces. When I received my pizza, I cut it open to examine it to ensure it was cooked properly and to see if the bottom was burnt; it was perfectly prepared! Our server (Olivia) saw me doing this and came over to ask if there was an issue; I loved her quick attention and friendly personality).
Seafood Fusilli: the Baby Clams, Jumbo Shrimp, Squid, Mussels were very well prepared and delicious and the first thing gone off the plate. The pasta was once again prepared to perfection.
The Ginger Goat hot sauce was a perfect accessory to any dish. It is definitely a hot sauce and if you like hot sauces, you definitely want this with your dish. They also sell this hot sauce but at $11.99 for a 148ml bottle the price is not worth the buy; there are other great hot sauces for less than half the cost available. To purchase elsewhere.
All in all, our party loved our visit, food and service. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
2nd visit on Saturday December 16, 2023 for 5:15 dinner. Caesar Salad (garlic dressing is made with soybean oil). Chicken Parm well seasoned and pasta cooked perfectly. The G-Burger was good. The Veggie Burger is made in house and...

Nestled in the heart of Kitchener, Ontario, Graffiti Market offers a unique dining experience that seamlessly blends delicious cuisine, craft brews, retail therapy, and interactive entertainment. During a recent weekend lunch excursion, I had the pleasure of immersing myself in the vibrant ambiance of this multifaceted establishment.
Upon stepping inside, I was immediately struck by the lively atmosphere, bustling with families and friends enjoying their time together. The industrial-chic decor, adorned with colorful graffiti art, lent an edgy yet welcoming vibe to the space.
Our culinary journey began with a sampling of Graffiti Market's eclectic menu, and it didn't take long to discover a standout favorite – the Detroit style pizza known as Dilla. This golden-crusted delight, boasting a symphony of flavors, instantly won our hearts. From the perfectly tangy sauce to the fresh toppings, every bite evoked a sense of nostalgia reminiscent of childhood pizza memories.
In addition to the sensational pizza, we indulged in an array of appetizers, including a creamy spinach dip and generously loaded nachos. Each dish showcased the kitchen's commitment to quality ingredients and impeccable execution, leaving us eager to explore more.
For those seeking a plant-based option, the veggie burger proved to be a hearty and satisfying choice. Nestled within a fluffy brioche bun, the patty crafted from beans and sweet potatoes offered a flavorful alternative that even meat lovers would appreciate. However, be prepared for its substantial density – this burger is not for the faint of heart!
While the food undoubtedly stole the show, Graffiti Market's innovative approach to dining extended beyond the plate. The smart touchscreen tabletops provided a novel way to peruse the menu, place orders, and engage in interactive games with our fellow diners. Despite the allure of modern technology, the personalized service from our waitress added a warm and human touch to the experience. Her insightful menu recommendations and attentive check-ins ensured that our dining adventure was nothing short of exceptional.
As the afternoon unfolded, it became evident that Graffiti Market is more than just a restaurant – it's a destination where culinary excellence meets interactive entertainment, all within a welcoming community atmosphere. Whether you're craving mouthwatering cuisine, craft brews, or simply a place to unwind with good company, Graffiti Market delivers on every front.
In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Graffiti Market to anyone seeking an unforgettable dining experience in Kitchener, Ontario. Whether you're a local resident or a visitor passing through, make sure to add this dynamic establishment to your list of must-visit destinations. Your taste buds – and your inner child – will...
Read moreGraffiti Market is a bit pricier than other restaurants in the area, but normally I’m happy to pay - their interactive tables are fun, they always have good beer on tap, and their pizza is great. After my visit there today, I will never be returning.
It being Family Day, the place was more packed than I would suspect for a normal Monday, but far from full - I’d say 60-70% of the tables were seated. And ours was a group of 6 plus a toddler - not a small party, to be sure. But the service was slow and lazy. First, our waitress straight up forgot about some of our entrees - they were brought out long after everything else, and only after asking if they were eventually coming. Second, our waitress’ presence was scarce - during the over two hours we were there, I had the opportunity to order 3 beers.
Look, we’ve all had bad experiences with bad wait staff at good restaurants. What will keep me from ever setting foot inside Graffiti Market again is that our waitress outright lied to me. They had a double IPA on the menu today, and I ordered it. I was kind of surprised - it was hoppy, but quite light, and it was hard to believe this crisp, very drinkable beverage was actually 8% ABV. I should have trusted my skepticism. After 2 more glasses of this DIPA, I went to the bar and asked for a growler. The bartender informed me that they were actually out of the double IPA. To make sure that I wasn’t the one who had just tapped the keg, I asked how long they had been out of stock of this beer - the response was that they hadn’t had it for several days. What, exactly, had I been drinking? At this point I had already paid the bill and was not about to go accost my waitress in search of an answer to this question. As I see it, there are only two possible scenarios - either she knowingly served me something that wasn’t what I asked for or she’s not intelligent enough to know what she’s serving to her patrons.
So, stupidity or dishonesty? I think I’ll just pick neither and go to a...
