I go here quite often with friends as I really do think their pastries are amazing. I worked in France in a few bakeries for a number of years and am pretty obsessed with how much their croissants remind me of those I used to eat in Paris. I do think the cost of their coffee is cost-prohibitive however. Many folks would like to enjoy an coffee alongside their pastry and I have a number of people in my life who simply have to choose one or the other when coming here. The size of the drinks are also very small. I think itâs a bit odd that a coffee would cost the same or more than an incredibly handmade pastry made in the French tradition. I also think their staff are not particularly friendly. At first - I thought maybe it was just one person having a bad day- but consistently the staff seem a little cold. A warm smile goes a long way. Iâve also been curtly told more than once - after arriving 30 minutes before closing - â we are closing soon!â While I understand itâs very tiring to work in this industry at times- and staff are very worn out at the end of the shift - it shouldnât be the first thing a customer hears when they walk...
Read moreReally sad experience here. We came in around 1 on a weekday and wanted to grab some bread and coffee, waited patiently at the counter while the barista was tending to other customers. However, after we stood there for almost 10 minutes, and even tried to tell her happy birthday (we overheard her talking to the others it was her birthday) we were just ignored the entire time. No one ever greeted us. The baker at the back walked by and didnât engage either. We ended up leaving without anything bc there was no acknowledgment of us being there. Wish we couldâve gotten to try the baked goods, but would appreciate if the front desk can at least tell us âone momentâ or acknowledge our existence. As we left, the barista did not budge to stop her conversation with the other guests. We did not feel welcomed. We werenât even looked at the entire time...
Read moreBeen wanting to go here since theyâve opened and wow what an amazing small coffee shop & bakery. One thing I really loved about this place is that everything they make they use sourdough which is amazing. I got an iced guava Matcha latte with oat milk one of the best matcha Iâve ever had. It was Strong and creamy, and had the sweetness from the guava syrup it was fantastic. I also got some treats I got a Cinnamon bun, crĂšme brĂ»lĂ©e sweet Danish, & expresso chocolate croissant. Amazing pastries so flaky, crispy, & perfect sweetness level. Iâm so happy that I got to try out this place. I will be back thatâs for sure. Highly recommend this place. The vibes are so cozy and you feel...
