For meat lovers, beef and shrimps are so fresh and tasty. Try them out. I like beef strips too btw. Huge fan.
When the owner is not in a good mood, u innocent and inexperienced ppl may suffer lol. Deducted one star cuz of that thug life attitude lol.
ULTIMATE L.Y. HOT POT DINING BIBLE. READ THRU BEFORE U GO. Like srsly no kidding or trolling. This is all u need to know to make the dining experience more smooth and enjoyable. Believe me folks. We r gonna make the hot pot great again. #MHPGA2018
NEVER TOUCH THE STOVE whatsoever even if not working properly. Call the boss if u need anything. NO NEED TO CHANGE THE POWER SETTINGS. Don't even bother.
DO NOT WASTE food. DO NOT ORDER TOO MANY portions at once. The boss will be pissed. Finish what u have atm first. U can also tell server to take back the food u don't eat. For instance, I always return noodle and sometimes eggs to them.
Be an early bird or just avoid busy hours. No new dine-ins 11pm. Closed at 12. Wait outside the dining hall. SMILE AND SAY HI WARMLY AND HAPPILY LIKE A RAY OF SUNSHINE THRU THE STORM. Then tell the staff how many ppl u have. Be patient.
DO NOT BOTHER THE BOSS TOOOOO MANY TIMES. For instance, if u need more portions, more tea/water, more sauce and tissue/spoon/whatever u name it. Tell him all at once altogether. Do not attempt to poke him like every 5 minutes. He will be VERY pissed as if u did it on purpose to troll him.
DO NOT MOVE STUFF AROUND without asking. If u need anything, do not take it from other tables. Need more chairs? Ask the boss first!
Be AWARE OF 2 hour time limit. Sometimes some ppl would break this rule cuz they r the friends of the boss's or they know each other for years. U r not one of his friends yet.
THE TABLE WILL BE DESIGNATED FOR U. DO NOT ARGUE WITH THE BOSS ON THAT. Sometimes u do have to share a table with others tho.
Ceramic cups for tea and plastic cups for drinks. Don't mix things up. He once told us a story that some customers broke (due to being overheated) his beloved cups, which made him outraged lol.
Just be clear about what u want and be nice in general.
They don't have varieties of fancy sauces or seasoning to choose from. Maybe vinegar if u ask them to bring u. But if they don't have it, then that's it. Don't bother. I don't even know if they have black pepper. Forgot that every time.

DO NOT come here if you're eating alone, you have to be accompanied by group or 2 individuals atleast! I was here a few days ago by myself when I was denied service, It was late and I didn't eat all day - on top of that the Owner comes off as ill mannered and arrogant, he did not even acknowledge my presence. You come to support an establishment, and the Owner did not even make eye contact with me, as I walked in he was sitting on a chair facing the opposite way of the customers coming in. You're supposed to greet the customers and seat them when they come in, instead I had to approach him myself. He didn't even have the decency or respect to turn his body around to help me, he literally sat in his chair (slightly looking back behind his shoulders) to talk to me. At this point I wasn't sure if he even acknowledged I was there, or had any type of importance at all. Since it was already late and everything closed I was desperate to eat, I asked if I could pay a little extra to get in, with a blasphemous response he told me, "It's $60 too expensive". Like what kind of Business or person treats the customer like that? He left me, dissapointed, upset, and starved to death. I walked out the Restaurant with no form of an apology. It was already late all I wanted to do was simply eat from a strenuous day and got denied service, and rudely confronted. Me, myself being Asian I understand that Respect and Loyalty is to be honored above all! I am embarrassed that this old man failed to represent those basic qualities especially towards his own kind, I can't imagine how he treats non- Asians. Read moreThis is the DIRTIEST “restaurant” I have ever stepped foot in. My partner took me here tonight for the first time, we sat down for 2 minutes, and left. When you enter into the restaurant, the front booths are filled with boxes, old vacuum's, random tubes. Just a lot of old junk laying around? When we were “greeted” by the older man behind the counter, who I’m assuming was the owner, he was incredibly rude. Basically barking at us to sign in, telling us where to stand. He couldn’t have acted more annoyed. When we got to the back dining room I was shocked by how dirty it was. Most of our surrounding tables were covered in old, half eaten orders that hadnt been cleaned up yet, even though there were about 4 people working the dining room….The ceiling was leaking above me. The walls had plastic tubes coming out of them for god knows what reason. All of the dishes and cutlery on our table were dirty, including the cooktop that our hot pot would have been cooked on. Nothing had been washed or wiped down, I can guarantee you that. The bowls of sauce that were on the table looked as if people had already dipped their food into them. There was food all over the floor and even noodles stuck to our chairs. The tables and chairs were all old, dirty and stained. Something you’d find in a dump. I took one look around and and told my partner we were leaving. If the dining room looked like that, image what the kitchen looks like. Thank god we left, because on the way out the waitress was bringing out the meat for our hot pot, and the chicken was purple in colour. Looked rotten and disgusting.
