recently had an extremely disappointing experience at Tim Hortons that compelled me to share my thoughts. I visited the Ottawa St N and was shocked to find that I was denied access to the restroom by a senior employee. Not only was I refused, but the manner in which it was handled was incredibly rude and disrespectful.
As a loyal customer, I've always enjoyed the products and service at Tim Hortons. However, this incident left a sour taste in my mouth. I understand that businesses have policies, but denying basic human needs like restroom access is unacceptable, especially when it's within the realm of Canadian regulations to provide such facilities to customers.
What bothered me even more was the attitude of the senior employee who denied me access. Their tone was condescending, and they made no effort to understand or empathize with my situation. It's disheartening to see long-time employees representing the brand in such an unprofessional manner.
I believe that a crucial aspect of customer service is treating patrons with respect and empathy, and unfortunately, this experience failed to meet those standards. Tim Hortons has always been synonymous with a welcoming atmosphere, but my recent encounter shattered that perception.
I hope this review serves as constructive feedback for the management to address these issues. Customer satisfaction is paramount, and I genuinely hope that steps are taken to prevent such incidents in the future. It's my hope that Tim Hortons can regain its reputation for...
Read moreWow, I see a lot of crusty Karen’s in here, along with their disrespectful husbands (Richard’s). Maybe the staff (I highly doubt this fact btw) would not be rude if your condescending nature wasn’t in full view. Take your tampons out because you’re really showing your Trumpism.
Rules are in place for a reason so however polite you are in stating how you were “denied” your basic human needs, keep your yap closed and get over it. Go somewhere else for your bathroom needs.
To those complaining about time…awww poor babies didn’t get their num-nums on time?…boohoo…go elsewhere then! No one wants you there anyway. No amount of swearing or raised voices will get your food quicker. In fact, it’s laughable being in line seeing you seething at the bit. Take a deep breath and wait. There’s wars, famine, murders, abuse etc., and you’re being sucky babies over a coffee and a breakfast sandwich that doesn’t have enough butter on it? Like I said, you’re all the embarrassment. I can’t imagine your family having to deal with such childish behaviour. Even they might not want you around. Do us all a favour, and go to your little corner and pout
As to the staff, you are appreciated and loved by those that count. You do a wonderful job! Never, ever forget that! NONE of you are rude…none! You’re just in a vulnerable position because of these overly coddled babies. I would love to see them do that in public…they would not be standing upright.
So here’s to you! ...
Read moreOverall, I’d like give the two Tim Hortons I frequent a negative reviews. First off, I am in a power wheelchair and 80% of the time the mobility buttons don’t work. Secondly, I’m owner training my medical and mental health service dog. When I go inside it’s to charge the chair so I can go home or to another location. I do purchase things every time I go. I get asked for paperwork 100% of the time. Mind you, she’s tasking for me when there. Guard chair. Only 2 questions are legally allowed by the AODA. 1- is that a service dog and2- what task is it trained to do.
I am also sitting where there’s a long table and 99% a frequent customer is always there playing cards and I get a disgusted look. I was there recently and the store employee gave us 15 minutes. We weren’t there a 30min yet and was told that people are allowed to stay as long as they want- yet I and my service dog weren’t causing any issue. I had bought and ate my Tim bit. Yet she came in after us, and I was being kicked out without causing a scene.
This causes me anxiety and stress. Which is why I have her on top of my mobility...
