Plan on waiting a half an hour or longer for chicken at this location. Ive walked in and stood at the cash register for 5 minutes before with no one aknowledging my existence..two girls stood facing the back hanging out At the chicken staging station ignoring me. The one even looked at me and just turned around and kept ignoring me until i was mad and left... On the deal days, they never have chicken ready, i used to go to the jane and finch location where on tuesdays there would be a line up out the door 40 feet back. And i would get served in much less time than this location with a small fraction of customers compared to that location. I had to ask for hot sauce packages at the one location and the middle eastern girl gave me a funny look cuz i asked her for that....have your workers ask if people want hot sauce packages or napkins.. she didnt say anything just grabbed packages and threw them on the counter beside my open hand, gave me a dirty look and walked away. Nobody ever says thanks or anything these days..lazy kids with shyte customer service and anti social entitled lazy kid behaviour. That or most people hate white peoole for no reason and ignore me....at a drive thru. I get ignored with a v8 truck thats loud enough i hear it start up in my apartment, and i sit there and even say hellooooo. I know the camera shows me at the speaker box. But nope. Nobody serves me. Either i leave out of frustration...or. another person witha. 4 cylinder car thats as loud as a computer fan ffs drives up and instantly gets served.....why can white people hear my truck and serve me when i approach counters? But racist people from middle eastern countries act like i dont exist...im not racist. Did nothing to you people... i know you hear and see my.big truck.... yet everyone else plays the race card...you want racism to stop, but you are the sources of it...you dont like the people in the country you moved to? My daughter ordered for home delivery and after specifying that our last order we were very unhappy with by receiving 9 out of the 16 piece meal being drumsticks, only 2 were back pieces and no breast pieces whatsoever, she was very clear that this time wanted no drumsticks! Was told it will arrives in 45mins - an hr. After an hour and a half of not receiving the order I called to find out what was going on. The woman says to me, "What! You haven't received it yet?! I sent it out 1/2hr - 45mins ago! I'll call the driver and call you back." She calls back and says,"It will be there in about 5mins." I say to her, "Ya but seeing as you sent it out so long ago now it's going to be cold." She says, "If you're not satisfied when it arrives call us back." Finally arrives about 15mins later, sure enough cold! But not only that 5 of the 12 pieces ordered are drumsticks, one wing & the other 5 are thighs! My daughter calls back and flipped out letting them know it's cold and what was received. They rush out a new order.... Ok this time it only took about 15 mins, it's hot, no drumsticks as requested initially but as for what we received was 1 wing, 1 back, 1 breast & 9 thighs!!!!! Half the order is supposed to be white meat not 1/4 of it!!! Not impressed at all!!!! And to top it off after all the initial problems we weren't even offered any type of credit or given anything for the inconvenience, nothing!!!! We ordered from them aprox once a month and you'd think they would have done something. This being said I think a call to the head office is in order!!!! Read moreOTTAWA LOCATION NOT RECOMMENDED; avoid unless you would like poor management, with a dash of racism. The employee at the cash greeted us in a very friendly and professional manner, however everything went downhill when we returned to the store after finding that we had the wrong order at home. We were told by the employee to speak directly to the manager, who basically belittled her employee in front of us for the mistake and even proceeded to tell us that we had purposely taken the wrong order. She then continued to have the audacity to accuse us further for being related to the employee and that we were working together to try to cover-up the mistake. Once we clarified that we weren't related, she proceeded to say that she was certain that we are related. Indicating that this was a racist remark, she took her employee to the back room to yell loud enough for everyone to hear, and forcing the employee to apologize for the mistaken order. On request for her details, such as her name and to whom I could file the complaint, the manager refused and ended the conversation by essentially challenging me to report this situation. As we left disgusted, she continued to yell at this employee. The managers' rational for all of this was that since we had technically gone home with a better and more expensive order, we should be content with our order. I have no issue with coming home with the wrong order, but what began as a drive back to clarify our order turned to a view into a manager's lack of respect for her employees and customers. I highly do not recommend supporting a company that hires a manager that does not respect their employees or their customers.
