Genuinely the WORST experience i’ve ever had coming through a Tim Hortons drive thru. June 22 @11:45pm I went through the drive thru with my sister and she ordered a peach quencher. The lady on the headset said she couldn’t hear the order (the car wash was going on) so my sister raised her voice to order the peach quencher. The lady then proceeded to say “Don’t yell at me” and when she asked how she was yelling she said “Go to another Tim Hortons if you’re going to argue with me”. I was shocked. I also work at Tim Hortons and was literally just coming off my shift and the way this employee was talking to my sister through the drive thru is a way I would NEVER speak to a customer. My sister replied and said “you said you couldn’t hear me so I raised my voice so you could” and the employee told us to drive up. When we did drive up, I finally spoke to her and asked her why she would speak to us in such a manner, mind you I’m still wearing my own Tim Hortons uniform and told her that I have been listening to the interaction and it is definitely not a way to speak to a paying customer. She then proceeded to YELL and speak over us saying “she’s tired and that we’re holding up the drive thru” I asked for her name and she said “why would I give it to you” (no name tag by the way) she called herself a supervisor when we asked to speak to one and then literally LEFT us and closed the window at the drive thru. I don’t know if customer training is different here but I do know this is definitely not a way I would speak to a customer. Horrible interaction and that employee must be spoken to! Unacceptable! Will not be...
Read moreI don’t want to put a bad review because I go there a lot but I have a complaint.
I went today (11:37 am) ordered my two iced coffee two farmers wrap and a frozen quencher. I repeated myself patiently as many times as needed during the order stage and when I went and paid they only gave me one ice coffee saying I only paid for one to which I said I asked for two so let me pay for the other one but then she started fighting me and talking in a condescending way as if I’m trying to get free coffee. I’ve been going here for a year almost everyday and I order and pay no problems and same routine this morning but she talked to me in a very condescending tone when I asked where’s my second coffee. So are we not allowed to hold the person giving our food accountable in receiving the right amount of food.
It was very busy and I understand that but being busy does not justify you being rude and acting condescendingly to a customer who just wanted to pay and get the coffee. I asked for the second coffee and asked to be charged and that should’ve been the end of the conversation but she went on fighting to which I said the same sentence three time. Which was (Charge me for it)
Again being busy does not mean u can say or act in a rude way instead it should be celebrated and people should be happy that they are busy. When the store is busy that’s when the store will be hiring more employees. Otherwise the store will not be hiring and perhaps even laying people off like the car industry and steel industry is doing.
I have no problems with other employee just this small interaction with the one at the...
Read moreFriday afternoon shift (May 27) around 3:30 was not impressed with the service received from the girl working - she refused to give me her name obviously because she was very aware of her ignorance- she claimed she was so rude because there was only 2 girls working which is not the public's fault if in fact there was only 2 working ( which would be ridiculous) But making customers walking in wait quite sometime so that they can serve drive thru first is unacceptable And when I finally did get served this particular girl was extremely ignorant and on top of that didn't even care to make my coffee properly and full of grinds as well- she was so rude that I had to go to a different Tim Hortons for them to correct it because I just didn't want to have to interact with her again Definitely some customer service skills should be reminded to some of your staff at this particular Tim's I also think they should have to wear name tags so that when an incident such as this occurs the employees that need better training in how they speak to customers ( which really is just common courtesy and respect)are given that training and don't give all the other girls that are actually doing their jobs properly a bad name I will not visit this Tim Hortons again because of this individual that has been quite rude on more than one occasion on...
