A&W Canada — Restaurant in Kitimat

I hate being this person, but every single experience I’ve had here in the last year has been poor. I love A&W but every order I request one simple modification and that is: no cheese. Every single burger I get has cheese on it. I understand that it can get hectic while working at a fast food chain but this evening, i was the only drive thru customer and there was maybe 2 families in the restaurant eating. I was told to pull aside and wait for my teen burger… 20 minutes pass by and we still have not been given our order. Eventually we get home and I open my burger to find it covered in cheese. There is no reason for me to wait as long as I did just to be disappointed once again. I will no longer be spending my money or wasting my time here.

We eat at A&W once or twice a month. I prefer A&W over the other fast food offerings in town because they use responsibly farmed Canadian beef, with no crazy growth hormones, and it shows in the taste of the meat. I also really like the beyond meat veggie burger! My kids prefer the poutine, although they will eat the chicken strips occasionally (which are also made from Canadian chicken without tons of hormones). The franchise here in Kitimat is well run, clean & recently renovated, with good consistent quality food and good service. I always leave happy...

Honestly one of the Best A&W's I've ever been in, the staff every time I have gone in have been phenomenal and very kind and patient with everyone. I appreciate how they break everything down easily without extra fuss, and they are always happy to help the customers.

It's very neat and tidy, and the food is always consistent even when they are busy. I haven't had any mistakes with an order yet, the amount of lettuce/sauces/etc are always the same unless you order it differently. Honestly, great eye for details from...
