Toujours Mikes — Restaurant in Lévis

Ordered to the Four Points by delivery. First off on the order, was never asked what kind of vinaigrette I wanted for my miniscule $10 garden salad. The dressing was absent when I received the order. Also, there was no cutlery, I'm at a hotel and when ordering a $20 Lasagna, you kinda hope it comes with something to eat it with... So I call them to explain that I can't eat this and that there is no dressing. She says she'll send the driver over with utensils and vinaigrette. I explain that that is great, but by the time this happens my $20 lasagna will be cold. She says she will not send me free food. She rudely puts me on hold then comes back and continues to argue with me over the fact that I can't get free food from them. I finally ask to speak to someone else, explain the situation and she says she has to call the 'big boss" puts me on hold for 5 minutes and when she gets back to me says he says the same thing as the rest of them, they don't give away free food. Its not free food, its a hot version of the food I ordered. So now I'm waiting for my cutlery and vinaigrette to show up so I can eat my cold $20 lasagna.

8.5 km away from this restaurant but apparently they don’t deliver to where I’m at.... the other Mikes is 13km away but they deliver to my location. Not sure I understand... called this one because they are open later than the other Mikes which closes earlier, and I figured they are closer to me so it shouldn’t be a problem to get food delivered...I guessed wrong. A bit surprised. All the restaurants literally next to this Mikes restaurant deliver to my location, like seriously all of them. But anyhow my favourite part was when she said ‘we only deliver in Levis’ ...yes, great, I assume so. The thing is I am in Levis... so I said ok well what’s the limit line for the zone of where you deliver ? She says the delivery person said he’s not delivering..... okay I guess lol unique experience. I called at 8pm on a Saturday night. While they said it was not possible due to the distance I’m not sure if in reality it was actually because of the distance / delivery zone or if it was because of the time of the order (I.e. at 8pm, 1hr before they close) But I won’t call to ask for a delivery ever again so I guess I’ll never know. Nonetheless points for the fact that the girl who answered the phone was...

Don't eat here if you don't speak French or have any allergies! Friendly staff with lots of giggles- thought it was their struggle with English however it was probably that they were messing with "the Americans". Not funny! I ordered a BBQ chicken pizza and told them of my beef allergy and asked to have the kitchen use a clean cutter so I won't have cross contamination (and die due to throat closure). They said they and the kitchen understood and it would be fine. I took the pizza back to my hotel only to find out they didn't bother to cut it at all! My husband tried to rip it in order to eat it to no avail. I didn't dare eat it as I couldn't trust that they didn't take precautions for my allergy. The kitchen and staff should be ashamed!
