This restaurant has a cozy little patio with a nice waterfront view. It would be a great date night spot if you're not in a rush. I waited close to an hour for the main course(57min). The appetizers and desserts aren't fantastic. The main course was very good although both the Gnocchi and Beef short ribs lacked color in presentation. Both are very brown. I had the burrata and the pig's cheek. Burrata came with a single one inch piece of bread. I asked for more, but instead was served two plain and cold pieces. The local honey & pepperoncini gastrique dressing was fantastic but extremely lacking in quantity. It barely covered the outside of the burrata. Once you cut it, all the flavour goes away and it's very flat for the taste buds. The pig's cheek felt greasy with a light taste of prosciutto. Overall, I would skip the appetizers and order the main course. The current dessert menu has two mint options and one crème brûlé. This was a let down as I'm not a fan of anything mint. As for the crème brûlé, I would expect something a bit more riveting from a 4.8 star restaurant. The service was average, and they did not apologize much for the period of wait. There were 5 groups that arrived after us, yet they were all served before the two of us. It was very frustrating watching the server bring everyone's plates before ours. Some patrons even managed to get to the dessert menu and pay before we started eating. Overall, I would go again, but have lower expectations. The main course was very good, but everything else was rather lacking

Nice little restaurant located in Wakefield near the Gatineau river. We kept hearing good things about this place and finally got a chance to visit. The service was good. Staff are very kind and thoughtful. The atmosphere is kind of special too. We sat on the terrace which is found on the side of the main building and is covered. We had the tuna entrée which was ok. For the main course, we had the beef braisé and the cod. The braisé was ok but we had better elsewhere. It was a bit too dry and could use a bit more butter in the cooking process in my opinion. The cod on the other hand was good. They have a nice selection of wine but a bit basic. Their cesar was very very good. There are vegetarian options. On the downside, they lack parking spots and two spots are reserved for tennants which is a bit odd. The place is busy thus strongly recommend making reservations ahead of time. Recommend the terrace as inside is too hot in the summer. Overall a nice place but at that price there are better options. Still worth at least one visit.

Husband and I had dinner there in Aug 2023 to celebrate our 32nd anniversary. Our first time eating there. Outstanding food! Delicious flavours, nice presentation, high quality. Small portions, not the place if you want a giant meal. I had a smoked trout appetizer and a braised beef main. And a tasty gin cocktail. Husband had duck appetizer and lamb main and a chocolate dessert. Compliments to the chef. Our server was excellent. My only suggestion is that for such fine dining (and higher-end prices) the decor could be improved with tablecloths. The restaurant is very small. There’s a small patio where we chose to eat since it was beautiful weather and a scenic view of the river, but then a couple sat next to us with a baby so we switched to indoors for our quiet romantic dinner…but then a couple sat nearby with an active toddler. Oh well. I recommend this restaurant. Our dinner of 2 appetizers, 2 mains, 2 cocktails and 1 dessert with tax was almost $200, plus tip.
