Ammar's Sweets — Restaurant in Lake District

I very rarely use skip the dishes to order food and especially would not order pita pies for delivery but i just felt like it today. Usually I go to castlebake but today I bought through Instapita. It was disgusting... not only because it was cold (which is fine since pita pies aren't good for delivery) but because it was not packaged properly. I got 4 pitas and they were all folded in half and piled onto one oily paper plate. The oil was immense I could've fried eggs with it. The meats were all one ball of soggy mess. My dessert pita was supposed to be honey but instead someone poured sugar all over it and it also leaked onto the meat pitas. Poor packaging and poor taste. I will never eat anywhere else other...

Halawt-el-jibin is pretty good here but the customer service is brutal. I’m most definitely a regular but they seem to love charging varying prices for the crushed pistachios I ask for on the side. The weigh it sometimes and also just type in a random price if they don’t. Today, the employee weighed it then typed in a $1.00…charge for a regular customer spending almost $30.00 on the sweets. Little things like that irk people. It’s not the money, it’s the principle. I get why a lot of people in the community have a rather negative perspective towards this place. There is the one younger lady that works here that is awesome. She is the only one that knows what customer service is. Too bad she’s barely working...

I'm from Lebenese decent , i know a good pita , i did not like any of the pitas , wrapped all together , burnt and hard ends , all put together in 1 aluminum tray with a small piece of tin foil to cover, Meat on 1 side and not on other , spinach and cheese not fresh , i ordered 2 of each and some were supposed to be sausage and some peperoni , the advertise sausage or peperoni , i ordered both and they were the same , lol good trick to fool someone , anyway spent 80 dollars on pita and were not edible , would not recomend !!!!!! PITA BAKE is the best pita shop , fresh , individually packed and tastes are amazing , i gave these guys a chance because pita bake was closed but...
