It's been a long time since I've dined in there. Used to be one of my favorite pho place but after my previous encounter, I did not bother dining in again. My bad experience started when I ordered their satay noodle soup. I was enjoying my soup when suddenly I bit on a hard brocken piece of a yellow glass as big as a pinky nail. Picture attached can say it all. I could not imagine if I swallowed this, might ended up me going to the hospital instead due to pain on the throat, stomach and or intestine. I asked the server if she can tell it to her Manager and later on said that they were busy so she could not entertain me. Honestly, I've been an avid fan of this resto since came to Edmonton but the service and quality now compared to before is no longer the same. Mostly long wait, bad service, and prices went up really high.

Customer WiFi: no Washrooms: yes Power outlets: no Pet friendly: no Parking: parking lot Food/Drinks: pretty standard Vietnamese noodle shop. Soup base is pretty good and you get a good soup to stuff ratio. They give you a good amount of protein too which is awesome. Service: very attentive staff also very friendly. Food comes quick everything is very streamlined and smooth Atmosphere: your usual Vietnamese noodle House feel where it's not super nice but also not super grungy

We came here for dinner and ordered the beef pho, satay beef pho and beef brisket noodle (yellow kind). We also ordered the soft salad rolls with shrimp. The portions are quite large here and I couldn't finish even i just ordered the small size one. The rolls came with a special source that mixed seafood source and peanut butter, which was quite good! You could also ask for fish source. All the noodles were great! Totally came to around 90 bucks for 3 adults and 2 kids.

My family and I went there last night in hopes of having a delicious meal together - a break from staying in our house because of the pandemic. The experience we were given made me regret taking them there at all.

I’ve read in a few reviews about the lack of service in this restaurant and chalked it up to it being an “authentic” Vietnamese restaurant experience (I’m Vietnamese and culturally, wait staff just greet, seat, take orders and being food out. Nothing fancy - and in my books, completely acceptable for an authentic Vietnamese dining experience).

Last night we arrived for dinner just after 5 pm. After being greeted at the door, our vaccination statuses assessed, we were sat at a booth with no mention of whether we wanted a paper menu, nor did anyone point out the QR code at the end of the table. We sat there for 10 minutes before I flagged someone down to ask for menus.

We were brought tea and a cup of water for my 4-yr-old - which he promptly spilled all over myself and the table. It took another 10 minutes. When we finally got orders taken, I ordered a large pho (to share with my son), shrimp salad rolls (#25), and a mixed red bean, coconut milk dessert (which I specifically said I’d like for after I finish my meal. Waitress looked confused, I explained further, she nodded that she got it). My husband got an order of chicken salad rolls (#25A) with his vermicelli and coffee, my son had a strawberry shake, and my mom had a bowl of vermicelli.

The restaurant was 1/3 full and there were multiple take-out orders. It took a long time for our food to start arriving. Understandable.

What was unacceptable to me was the sporadic, piece-meal delivery of our food, including my dessert at the same time at my husband’s main and my son’s drink. Especially since I had made a point to tell the waitress that I wanted my dessert at dessert time. The person who delivered my son’s drink accidentally poured it on our table as well as in my mom’s tea cup (which he apologized for and replaced her cup).

My husband’s appetizer arrived next, then my mom’s main. My pho arrived a good 10 minutes afterwards, my shrimp salad rolls nowhere to be found.

Being Vietnamese, and an avid cook, I know what pho is supposed to taste like. What I received last night was a watered-down excuse-of-a-broth that mildly resembled flavoured sock water. I hate to say it - I’ve definitely had better. The “usual” practice is for pho places to put water in their broth when it’s running low so as to extend the life of the broth. As a foodie, This is unacceptable and I would rather have been told that they were out than to have eaten that bowl of disappointment.

When my appetizer hadn’t arrived by the end of my meal, I inquired about it to my waitress. I mentioned it both by name and number. She looked confused, but immediately went to out the order in. When it was brought out, it was not what I’d ordered (#25A instead of #25) and having finished both my main and my appetizer at this point, I just told them to forget it.

I can honestly say that in my 20 years in the restaurant industry, and having gone to many restaurants, including Pho ones in many continents, My family and I were very disappointed in our dining experience last night and personally, if you’re looking for decent pho, I’d highly recommend heading to the food counter at Lucky Supermarket on...

Went in on Saturday for a late lunch. Got seated, waited a bit to order, but not overly long. Their fans or something was broken, understandable when on overdrive with the heat.

The issue: when ordering, I point to the exact menu item I want and say it as well. So I order a chicken salad roll and I said small Pho satay. The waitress said something both my fiancée and I didn't quite hear. I was like did she say a number 1 (aka a steak pho). He's like no I am pretty sure she said thank you. Hm okay, she ran off fast and didn't repeat any of the order at all so thought maybe he was right.

We are waiting for the food, got the salad rolls and spring rolls. All good there.

The soups came out, his correctly and then they put a steak pho in front of me. I was like she did say number 1. Even though pho satay is what I said.

My fiancée told the waiter who dropped off that's not what I ordered, he got the ticket and he's like that's what the waitress wrote. He's like she said pho satay. Waiter took it back. He was pleasant and all.

The original waitress came out with the right soup. Then she's like next time order but number. My fiancée was annoyed/mad at this comment and was like she did order it correctly. She ran off pretty fast again after. Putting the blame on me instead of taking responsibility.

He said he was going to say something when we go pay. I told him to drop it. But that comment bugged both of us. When he did go up to pay they barely acknowledged him, couldn't find our ticket, and didn't ask him how things were or anything.

Very disappointing cause our last visit to this location was really positive and we even said it was the second best one in the city next to the west...

Well, we were just here and I just had to rate this place. We were quickly sat and the server brought us water and rice tea. I ordered the house special pho and it was the most flavourful pho I've had in years! Incredible flavours! My family ordered the pork chop, spring roll and rice plate which also comes with broth if you ask plus extra rice and spring rolls for our little ones. The pork chops tasted like they were marinated for at least 48 hours. They'd developed a delicious flavour. I noticed an older lady walking around cleaning the floor, but she didn't intrude and was gently sweeping into a small dustpan. Not creating dust or anything. A young lady went around and cleaned the dirty tables. The place looked clean, even the bathrooms. They had a steady customer presence, but not crazy busy which is good for us. The server never really came back to check on us, we had to grab his attention every time we needed something. He actually got our order wrong so, our two older boys had to sit there waiting for their food and they were really hungry to begin with, but I think this error was due to a bit of a language barrier. The food came out fast so, they didn't wait too long. Anyway, I would definitely recommend this place because the food tastes quite authentic and the flavours are insane! I only gave it four stars because the service could be just a little bit better, but other than that it passes all my priority points which are good food, good service and...
