My family and I went for supper we placed our order and we are told it will take 15 min to be ready and when I'm ordering I mentioned that my son's wrap should NOT have any sauces exept hummus because he have egg allergies and it's very dangerous, and mentioned that at least 5 or 6 time in both languages English and Arabic to make sure they get it clearly. After 15 min the guys came to our table to inform us that there is no more chicken shawarma when I've seen a couple people cane after us and got served chicken shawarma, I was disappointed but changed my order and said to my wife that happen it's OK. When he started making the wrap from my son I've seen him putting garlic sauce I told him no sauces and it need to be changed he took it inside took off the sauce and used the same bread again and he was covering it with his hand so I don't see it and that's when I noticed it and asked him again "did you use the same bread? Is that garlic sauce?" He said just little bit and that's when I took my wife and kids and left, got my money back and get the he'll out of there. That little bit could kill my son, you should understand that since you have a food safety training and of you are not able to serve someone with allergies you can mention it from the beginning and I totally understand because it's not the first time when a restaurant tell me that they...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went here to try a couple things on the menu.. I have had this style of food many times and enjoy it quite a bit, until I ate here. I went with high hopes but to be very honest it was bad.. first off, the ordering is terribly annoying and awkward. Because itās To crowded and thereās a table like two inches from where u stand to order. And said table had a full on party when I was trying to order so I spent my time trying to not be tripped by a child running literally around my legs and and his parent figure right by my elbow doing nothing. Anyways besides that. The food. It was stone cold in my dish, like to the point there was cold white Grease in the food. And I noticed everything I had gotten to try had a strange sour aftertaste.. like it had been left out for several hours or something Iām not sure.. Bottom line, Iām sorry it sounds so harsh, but I would not recommend this place at all.. the whole thing was a stressful experience and very very disappointing and upsetting food wise.. the only good thing about the place was the servers, they were polite and cheery and I appreciate...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOur recent visit to Baghdad Restaurant was a true feast for the senses. The massive mixed grill platter, served on a wooden board, showcased an impressive selection of meats, falafel, and roasted vegetables, creating a visually stunning and appetite-inducing presentation.
The standout items were the succulent kebabs, perfectly grilled with a smoky char and packed with flavor. The minced meat kebabs were especially juicy and well-seasoned, while the grilled chicken was tender with a delightful hint of spice. Accompanying the meats were crispy, golden-brown falafel balls, adding a crunchy contrast to the dish. The spread of grilled vegetables, including eggplant and peppers, balanced the richness of the meat, while the assortment of saucesāspicy red and creamy whiteāelevated each bite.
The restaurantās ambiance complemented the food, offering a warm and inviting space ideal for sharing a hearty meal with friends or family. If youāre looking for a place to indulge in authentic, well-prepared Middle Eastern barbecue, Baghdad Restaurant is a must-visit. Highly recommended for...
