I ordered from this place because it had the best reviews, but after the experience I just had…I struggle to believe this place is worth spending a dollar at. We put in a $65.00 order and we’re told 40 minutes. After almost 1 1/2 hours, we called asking for a time estimate. The woman we spoke to couldn’t get a hold of the driver and expressed confusion because according to her, our food was picked up 20 mins after we called it in, She also expressed that her manager wasn’t there, and needed him to call us back which he did some minutes later. After going around in circles on the phone the driver finally pulled into a screeching stop in front of our house, clearly not happy, the manager called the driver and somehow couldn’t agree on handle the situation. We didn’t feel we should pay anything more than 1/2 price for old stale food. BOTH the driver and manager were irritated an issue was raised, and all in all after 1 1/2 hrs, the driver who had put the food on the ground, snatched our food up and walked off with out a word. When we called out to him to ask what’s going on, he yelled that they were cancelling our order to and to order somewhere else. Within seconds the the manager hopped on the phone with us to tell us they weren’t going to do anything about it and to order somewhere else. Basically, doesn’t care about how they treat you and would rather lose you as a client entirely and WASTE your time, than hold themselves accountable. Don’t waste your money and support a better...
Read moreI decided to try this restaurant as it was closer to home and I didn't want to drive across town during the supper rush hour to pickup food from one of my known good restaurants. The reviews looked decent to me, including some that raved about how amazing the noodle bowls are. I noted that there were some low reviews recently that spoke to poor customer service, but none of the negative reviews I noticed had anything to say about the food itself. Having ate the food now I have to question the veracity of the positive reviews, or at the very least how disadvantaged those people must be to make those claims. Recognizing that taste is subjective, and no comparison can be completely objectively fair, my experience is that the food is edible but extremely disconnected from amazing, incredible, or the best ever.
The noodle bowl was decent. The spring rolls were... meh. The cold rolls were decent, although on the small size. The peanut sauce clearly uses a lot of hoisin, making it quite salty and was not enjoyable. The fish sauce was alright, but definitely had a different taste than I've experienced from any other Vietnamese/Asian restaurant.
Would I order from here again? I won't say I'll never order here from here again; however, I definitely wish I had just taken the time to drive across town to buy from one of the restaurants I know have good...
Read moreI had two very disappointing experiences at this Restaurant.
On my first visit, I clearly informed the staff that I do not eat pork and requested that no pork be included in my meal. Despite this, they served me pork spring rolls without telling me. I only found out when I asked at the end, and they casually said, “oh sorry, there was pork, we didn’t notice.” This is extremely careless and unacceptable, especially for someone with religious or dietary restrictions. On top of that, during my meal, no staff member came to check in or ask if I needed anything — which shows very poor service.
On my second visit, the service was even more disrespectful. Instead of welcoming me and letting me sit down, the staff handed me a menu at the counter, as if they didn’t even want to serve me at a table. I felt unwelcome right away. I gave the menu back immediately and left without dining.
Overall, I felt disrespected and disappointed both times. If you care about respectful service or dietary needs being taken seriously, I would not recommend...
