It was a mixed experience includes bad and good and funny situation
I'll start with the funny I dressed up me and my wife and you went to the restaurant because my wife saw a good reviews on kababji LaSalle so we thought let's try their food we arrived there there was no dine-in so the whole dressing up was for nothing LOL
good experience it was the atmosphere and the restaurant was really beautiful the decor really nice, clean, organized, nice location, beautiful parking, lot plenty of parking spaces, nice building besides the service was great the Young Brother there was really nice with me I even got my pups on the house
and finally the bad experience which it was I got my order takeout and I went to the park me and the wife and I only got four small napkins like seriously a restaurant has three different locations will put in a takeout order for napkins that has two oily sandwiches and one small fries come on guys
about the food oh my God the fries were crunchy and they were really Brown and this due to the old and bad oil they used to fry the fries about the sandwiches I ordered one Shish sandwich and one chicken shawarma the chicken shawarma the first bite was awesome but I didn't know what was waiting for me in the middle or at the end of the sandwich there was like almost 2 lb of spices in the chicken and it's not even Shawarma spices and it was really oily sandwich anyway the garlic taste good the pickles and lettuce was acceptable the bread was a bit old about the shish sandwich there was around four pieces of shish inside the sandwich I worked in restaurants for like 2 years and I know that at least 5 pieces of shish supposed to be in the sandwich the grilling and the garlic was good but the bread and the lettuce and a pickles was acceptable
About the pricing almost $29 for this kind of meal that's a lot like really a lot
I'm not trying to criticize I am just cheering my experience so they would do much better next time
Thanks a lot keep up...

Read moreWe walked in and ordered their cold appetizer platter (hummus, Baba ganoush, and tabouleh) with a fatoosh salad and two pita sides. This took over 45 minutes with us constantly asking if our food was ready. They had a table of 8 that was getting finished up when we arrived and a table of 6 and a table of 4. There was only one server who seemed to really be catering towards the Arabic family of 6 and ignoring the rest of us. We kept asking why a salad and hummus were taking a while, these are things that I could make at home easily in 20 minutes tops. The server couldn't tell us why it was taking a while except saying that "it's coming". There is only so many times we can hear a line. We both work at a restaurant and was just appauled at the way this restaurant was functioning. I hadn't been there before and wanted to try it out, won't make that mistake again. We ended up walking out at the 50 minute mark without any food. So upset. Wanted to...
