We ordered 2 double steak dinners, miso soup, and dumplings. Were told steak is all cooked medium well. When we received our food the first thing we noticed was that the steak was equivalent of a single order. Roughly 4-6 oz each. The worst part, though, was that it was burnt to a crisp and the consistency of shoe leather. The only thing that made it remotely palettable was drowning it in their garlic sauce to add some moisture back to your mouth. The rest of our box was packed with soggy cabbage and very white "fried" rice. Huge disappointment on the dinner and WOULD NOT recommend the shoe steak. Moving to the sides. The dumplings were filled primarily with cabbage and rice. We tried to find any pork in them and we think it was just enough to hold the cabbage and rice together. Not worth the calories or money. The miso soup was probably the most okay thing, but no tofu in it like traditional miso. They also served it in coffee cups. It's very clear this place is trying to cut costs but it's in all the wrong places. We love Japanese food, but we will definitely not being going back to this...

The food is great indeed, BUT - the server girl was rude, dumb and with zero serving manners. We went 5 people for lunch - it was a business meeting break, two of us were served first and when they were almost done two others received, but than before starting to eat one plate was taken back and given to another waiting team member - it was almost harassment what she was doing. At the second stage the first two finished theirs, two others were eating and the one with the taken plate was still waiting for hers. It was a pathetic sharade. I am not taking any of my friends or acquaintances here. This dummy girl, was leaning in front of us over the table to reach the one sitting next,brushing her chest against the one in her way, instead of walking around the table and place the plate from the right back side of the seat. Food was, as always, very good. This is coming from someone who has been enjoying their dishes for many years now!

The problem in our last couple of visits is that, when you are a seated patron it takes a very long time for your food to arrive!

During our last outing there was a 40 mins delay between the time we ordered and when our dishes arrived. In the meantime there were numerous take-out customers who came and went, some of whom ordered after their arrival AND after our order was taken.

So here is the thing: you need to PRIORITIZE your seated guests, they are not there to simply enjoy the "holding tank" atmosphere (LOL), and if you are crazy busy just tell me right as I arrive that I should expect a LONG delay!
