Subject: Complaint Regarding Overly Salty Food at Swiss Chalet â Malden Road Location
Dear Swiss Chalet Customer Service,
I am writing to formally express my deep disappointment with a recent experience at your Swiss Chalet location at 5844 Malden Road, LaSalle.
On July 26, 2025, I placed an online order for pickup at 8:43 PM (Check #3941, Online Order #20250726 2960024). To my surprise and frustration, the entire mealâincluding the fries, Swiss Chalet sauce, and chickenâwas extremely salty, to the point of being completely inedible.
I am a blood pressure patient, and in the past 17 years of regularly ordering from Swiss Chalet, I have never encountered such an issue. This excessive level of salt not only made the meal unsafe for me to eat but also ruined my movie night, which my family and I were looking forward to.
I spoke to a staff member named Shadi, who acknowledged the possibility that the chicken may have come pre-seasoned and mentioned it could have been a supplier or batch issue. While I appreciate her explanation, the quality control on this occasion was unacceptable.

I said that she made a mistake and I wanted to use my points so food wouldnât be 60$, another cashier came to the window and yelled at me that the window cashier made a mistake and just pay for the food. At this point the manager came and she was yelling at me because it was my fault ?
