Anatolia Restaurant — Restaurant in Laval (administrative region)

I do not recommend this place if you expect a basic dine in service. I have done take out before, food is good but there are better places that will meet all your expectations. My family and went there for brunch, dine in. The waitress didn't know how to speak politely. When you enter it says "chose your own table", so based on that we chose a table, there were no "reserved" sign on the table we chose. The waitress came and said "this table isn't yours" in a weird tone. We sat at another table. Waitress gave us the menu and left, didn't even greet us at all. Waitress were extremely disorganized. We were at the table over 20 minutes, waiting for someone to take our order, no water was served either for 20 minutes. Waitresses were just walking around. They did not even look at us, we tried few times to call them over to tell them to take our order but they wouldn't even look. Everyone else that came after us, they were treating differently, they were greeted. I can sense there was a racial discrimination going on cause we were the only none turkish or Arabs there. My family and I were hungry. Drove over 30 minutes to experience dine in and sadly I will never recommend this place due to how differently they treat people based on their racial preferences I guess. I recommend take out or go to Istanbul Gunes Kebab at Viau mall, people are friendly, staff are nice and food is amazing, also turkish. We walked in at 19:53 and weren’t acknowledged for at least twenty minutes. We asked for water for 30 minutes… until we got up and got a pitcher on our own. Not only we waited an hour for our order to be taken but everything we wanted, the kitchen was out. Mind you they close at 21:30. I understand it’s Boxing Day but parties of 12 were being served even as we were leaving. I didn’t want to think we got the service we received bc all of the other patrons are non-black but it really felt that way.

The food we did receive was tasty. Their bulgur was some of the best I’ve ever had and the lamb skewer was well seasoned. Sadly the waiter dropped our fries on the table and set the utensils directly upon the table (after we had to ask for them once our food arrive). It didn’t feel like anyone cared that the service was subpar. Won’t be going back. Won’t be recommending...

Worst experience ever. Went there with the family today. First the waitress make us change table, then she comes 10 min later to take order. She takes order for 4 people without writing anything. She validates the order by repeating the wrong dishes, I correct her. She comes back after 10 min with a pen this time and asks for the order again and writes it down. In the meantime, the new clients are served. When I ask her after an hour she says they threw the paper and did not prepare the order. 10 min later still nothing. We decided to leave and when telling the lady at the cash she does not even apologise only says she knows. Note that in all this wait nothing was put on the table and we had to request water 3 times before they brought it. Really...
