Boulangerie Patisserie S. Miguel — Restaurant in Laval (administrative region)

Very dissappointed, not what it used to be..... was in the area and purchased for close to $200.00 got home, a 2 hour drive. The cake I purchased was old, the cream was cracking off and inside smelled moldy strawberries and tasted like they had put alcohol but I figure that was just the fermented strawberries. The small pasteries they call natas were also old and stale the inside was dry. If I didn't live so far I would bring her back the cake and say here I give you this cake so you can feed it to your family..... Seriously never again!!!! better driving the extra 15 or 20 minutes and go to the one on the corner of Gounod near Berri........I'm very upset and this is the 2nd time I pay for a cake just to throw in the garbage from...

It's my last time going there. Second time in a row wasting my money on unfresh and fridge tasting pasteis de natas. I'm asking for some fresh ones behind the counter and end up having horrible pastries. The dough is super dry, burnt and hard. Service is miserable. Barely say anything, not even hi. We always get the feeling that they don't want to serve people. They are too busy at the back on their phone I guess. My Portuguese in-law are coming over for diner tonight and believe me, there is no way I'm gonna serve them those Natas. I might not be Portuguese but I definitely know what good and fresh natas taste and feels like. This is just horrible and will end up in the trash. Wish I was living closer. I'd go get a...

Will not give it a 2 stars as it was a huge disappointment for a second time. First time visit was last year when i purchased 24 natas (custard tarts) undercooked and today purchased 24 Queijadas de Feijao (bean tarts) not fresh and still looking for the bean filling in this tart all i could find is a steel not flaky dough, as a portuguese person myself its disappointing having to sell these to clients its a huge a embarrassment....No third time visit i rather drive an extra 15min and get way...
