Pizzeria Il Forno — Restaurant in Laval (administrative region)

I was hesitant to try, despite the great reviews because I'm ridiculously picky about pizza and never get lucky.

However I finally, after 13 years have found pizza that made me go WHOA! THIS is what pizza is supposed to taste like!!

The cheese, the pepperoni, the sauce and the dough, all amazing and worked perfectly together. And the crust! My god the crust!

I, the hater of most pizza crust, ridiculed by family and friends for my refusal to eat it, was blown away.

The dough was soft, fluffy, moist, flavorful. And the crust, with that perfect crispiness. Just spot on!

And it just perfectly completed the pizza. Perfection! And it was so filling! I had to tap out after 1 slice. But since the XL pizza is a generous size (and a very reasonable price FYI) we've got left overs!

The pizza alone is enough for me to recommend it. But the customer service was also above par. I highly encourage you to call and order directly from them.

Great service, free, fast delivery and bonus, you're supporting a local business with 100% of the proceeds going to them and not an exploitative delivery service company that takes 30%.

Great Pizza but like most of nowadays pizzerias, they use the cheaper pizza mozzarella that is a bit tasteless compared to the real old school mozzarella. I'd say this pizza is pretty much as good as San Antonio's pizza also located in Laval but both are on the expensive side.

Crust is great but a bit too thick for my taste as others have pointed out in their review. Obviously a choice that reduces the toppings versus crust ratio and reduces their cost but unfortunately also reduces taste.

I dearly miss my childhood's memories pizza dripping in fat but I do recognize this is a great version of today's pizza where Saputo is monopolozing the pizzeria industry with it's lower prices and tasteless cheese. (I might be wrong about the brand lol) So not really the pizzerias fault if they want to make a decent profit without having to sell selling their pizzas for more.

Well, just tried it first time, and was completely blown away, absolutely fantastic the crust was perfect not drenched in sauce, toppings, perfect, you can definitely tell they use top quality, had to call them and tell them how spectacular there pizza was, a must try in Laval for sure, wow !! Nothing else left to say, except try it.😉😉
