Looking to go eat with your family? Save your self some time and money and DONT. service? Horrible. Food? Couldn’t tell you. Let me elaborate… We reserved for 15 people at 2pm. We got there on time, restaurant looked nice. The waiter took our order at around 3pm (which is not normal). There was also a table next to us, speaking to the chef because the food was very cold, so not very promising. As we eat the mezze around 3:45, some people left because the wait was too long. I’m sorry but hummus and bread does not take 45 minutes to plate. At 4:30, we still didn’t get any of the main dishes. We went to see the waiter, who I believe is also the manager what was going on since we never got an update on our food. He told us that the chef just put the meat on the charcoal which was very frustrating so we told him that it’s absolutely not normal to wait that long. He was very arrogant and told us that we don’t know how to run a restaurant. After his poor customer service, we decided to leave. We payed for the mezze we got and left. It was a very disappointing experience and I will not be recommending this place to anyone. I would also like to mention that restaurant was not full so it was not very understandable. We went to celebrate Palm Sunday and have a nice family meal so it kinda...
Read moreMirazu Laval is a very modern and spacious restaurant. The Lamb Tandir kebab was absolutely delicious. The “Karniyarik” dish consists of eggplant topped with Adana kebab and tomato sauce. Since we are not big fans of too much tomato sauce, it wasn’t quite to our taste, but it looked great. When I think of “Karniyarik,” I imagine the minced meat dish from Turkey. The complimentary tea after the meal was just what we missed, and it made us very happy.
We also tried the clotted cream “Künefe,” which they claim to be the best in Montreal. However, like other restaurants, I don’t think they used the right type of cheese, and it wasn’t perfectly browned. The clotted cream also wasn’t as good as we hoped. Nevertheless, it might be the best in Montreal; I haven’t had a perfect “Künefe” here yet.
Overall, the restaurant’s ambiance and some of the dishes were...
Read moreBeing very picky eater I highly recommend this restaurant the food is excellent. It’s been a while since I last went to a great restaurant without breaking the bank. For what you eat prices are reasonable, not expensive not cheap, very generous portions of main course.Bring your own wine. We took the $60 per person special plate with 3 choice of mezze, 5 choice of meat, coffee or tea with the Mirazu Atom desert heavy cream the only thing I didn’t like and it doesn’t belong in a Turkish menu in my opinion, the only reason they got 4 stars instead of 5. Service very good the waiter is also the owner takes good care of clients. Made us feel right at home or as if we were regular clients on our...
